Even though the light switch
Called the morning midnight
And through our lives we went
Through ups and downs lately
But we always held on to the
Dream that was of you and me
You may have been someone who I first
Saw inside of the MustangHigh gym
But you were my first best friend who reminded
Me of the old Kaylee who had to change
Even though you were Gabriel my best friend
I still found all those soft spots for you
Even though you became jealous of
The smart girl without ever really
Knowing me but all that seemed
To change once all the lights
Went off and we woke up
Walking down memory lane
In our dreams.
