A slight breeze blew through your room from the open window. You opened your eyes slowly and turned your head towards the draft. Your windows were open, and the sun was shining brightly with a few wisps of clouds in the sky. Your bed sheets felt light against your body, but you felt something tight wrapped around your lower stomach and back. You observed the room and found it was your room at the Phantomhive Manor. No one was in the room with you, and everything seemed somewhat brighter. You slowly sat up in your bed, feeling the tightness tighter around your midsection. You looked down and saw yourself in your nightgown. You pulled the hem of your top and looked down at your stomach. There were bandages wrapped around your midsection. Your door opened, and Mey-Rin stepped inside the room, flinching when she saw you awake.
" You're up, you are! "
" Yes, where is everyone? "
" Everyone is at Madam Red's funeral. "
" How long have I been unconscious? "
" Two days, my lady. "
Mey-Rin walked further into the room and set down a tea set beside your bed.
" I cam to switch out your teapot. The young master requested that your tea would be switched out every couple of hours, he did. "
You nodded but looked towards the suitcase you had set against the dresser from the first day you stayed in the manor. You pulled the sheets away from your body and stood up from the bed, but your back ached. You placed your hand on your back and bent down a little bit, letting out a sigh of pain.
" My lady! You should rest! "
" No. . ."
You walked towards your suitcase and pulled it towards your bed. You threw the suitcase on your bed, crying out in pain from the movement. You leaned against the suitcase, feeling your backache.
" My lady! Please! "
Mey-Rin realized she wouldn't get you to stop moving, so she ran to get Bard and Finny to help. While she was gone, you grabbed a light dress that was comfortable and flowy. You walked behind your pullout wall and started to change. You changed the bandages on your back and then slipped the dress on. Next, you put on a pair of flats and walked towards your suitcase, packing it. Your door opened with Bard entering, smoking a cigarette, with Mey-Rin and Finny behind him.
" What are ye' doin!? " Bard yelled, pointing at you.
" Leaving. . ." You said, with your throat scratchy from not speaking for so long.
You didn't know who to trust, seeing as Ciel had hidden Sebastian's true self from you. You were scared about everything, and you didn't know what to do, but you decided to leave and go back to your estate. You didn't care that others would see it as improper; you didn't want to stay in a manor where you felt nervous.
" But why? " Finny asked you, stepping closer.
You didn't answer, realizing that they either didn't know or were playing dumb. So instead, you slammed your suitcase shut and started to carry it to the door to your room. Your hand still resting on your back, in pain.
" You can't! "
Finny took your suitcase and pulled it out of your hands easily. You abandoned your suitcase and walked through the manor to leave. You found the stairs and started stepping down them, clutching onto the railing. As soon as you stepped off the stairs, the front doors to the manor opened, revealing Ciel and Sebastian, dressed in black clothes, with only red roses in their jacket pockets.
" Y/n! What's going on? " Ciel shouted, stepping towards you.
You continued walking forward, not answering his question. Your breathing had become ragged, and blood started to drip on the floor from your wound. Ciel became even more worried and stepped towards you taking your arm within his hand.
