People tell me
"You're poems are sad"
"Why your mom leave you
And your dad?"

To them I say
I'm sorry about them
For I need to
Express from within

And about my parents
I don't know
But I'm guessing that
It started with "go"

"Why do you get bullied"
"Why do you cut?"
These cause a pit
In my gut

I get bullied for nothing
Get called all the names
Bringing home
A crown of Shame

The red blood
Releases me
Causing me pain
That no one sees

My world is confusing
But please don't yet go
For there is more
Here to know

I have days were I am happy
My parents still talk
I also get called pretty
These scars are cool, seem so rock

There's more to each side
Of my story you see
So don't judge this person
Until you've known me
