In high school Kaneki resented Colossal Titan because he was rich and Kaneki was not. Kaneki was so upset because he wanted a Tesla too. All Kaneki had was a Ford Pinto. Kaneki wanted to take out his anger on someone but he couldn't do that to the colossal Titian. There was two other rich kids who were not as rich so Kaneki could take out his anger on them. They were Light and L.
Kaneki decided that he would blow up both of there houses. He bought some bombs and put them in there houses. Light and L were very mad! They were going to track down who did this!
Kaneki was nervous they would find who did this because he left "Kaneki was here" spray painted in the rubble of both of there houses. The worst happened! It turned out Light was literate (L was not). They went up to Kaneki and told him that he owed them a lot of money. $1000000 to be exact! As stated before Kaneki did not have that type of money. He was frantically searching for ways to get the money. If he did not get the money in one year Light said he would write his name in the Death Note. Kaneki did not know if Light was bluffing or not (Light bluffs a lot). Kaneki only knew one solution to his problem. He did bit like it but he was going to have to date Colosal Titan.
