The morning after the bar incident and then being questioned by the police after Vince was freaking murdered, we were meeting at the Meeks-Martin household.
I sat next to Wes on the couch. My head was resting on his shoulder and my hand was held in his when the doorbell rang and Mindy left to go get it.
"How do you know so much about the Stab movies?" A voice drifted from down the hall and I recognised it as Sam's boyfriend, Richie.
"It runs in her family." An unfamiliar voice spoke.
"Randy was our uncle." Mindy spoke as she walked into the room with Sam, Richie and... Dewey Riley? "RIP."
"What's the ex-Sheriff doing here?" Wes asked Chad.
"You said to bring everybody." Mindy gestured to our group.
Sam looked over and Chad gave a little wave.
"Hey." She greeted.
"Ooh, suspects." Martha Meeks came into the room with a tray of snacks. "My brother would be so proud."
"Hey Martha."
Martha gasped. "Dewey! Hi!" They hugged. "You look..."
"Yeah."
"How's the wife?"
"Okay, mom, we're good." Chad spoke up from where he was sitting. "Thank you."
"All right, kids. Have fun." Martha then walked out the room.
"I asked Mindy to call everybody here because there's something I have to tell you." Sam then explained exactly what she had to tell us.
"So, let me get this straight. You're saying that you're the daughter of Billy Loomis and, what, that one of us is the killer?" Chad tried to wrap his head around the idea.
"The killer told me he knew my secret. He attacked Tara to lure me back here."
"But then why immediately go and murder some douche nozzle that was stalking Liv?"
"Why does it have to be one of us?" Wes asked from beside me. "What about Deputy Dewey here? Maybe he's the killer. No offense."
"None taken but what's my motive?" Dewey leaned forward.
"You got stabbed a billion times, got dumped by your famous wife and crawled into a bottle. I think it's safe to say you're on the suspect list."
"Well, maybe you're the killer cause that cut deep."
"That douche nozzle is connected." Amber said, reading something on her phone. "I googled him. His mom is Leslie Macher, Stu Macher's sister."
"Who's Stu Macher?" Liv asked.
"Oh my god." Mindy pinched the bridge of her nose.
"He's Billy Loomis' accomplice." Dewey told Liv. "A real loony tune."
"Okay, okay." Sam sat up straighter. "So the first three attacks are all on people related to the original killers."
"Oh my god, he's making a requel!" Mindy realized.
"A what?"
"Or a legasyquel, fans are torn on the terminology."
"Please speak English." Chad groaned.
