The Easter bunny

The first child gone

My mom handed me the tv remote as I ate my breakfast. I decided to turn on the tv to watch the news about Easter. Normally it was announcing that the bunny was here but today they were announcing the disappearance of a child. Mom was shocked and so was I. This town had the best security. Who done this? I was about to talk to mom when the phone rang. Mom picked it up and told me it was Anna.
"Hey girl," I said still in shock after what I'd seen.
"Uh have you seen the news?" She replied shocked.
"Yeah I'm so confused."
"Same here. Who do you think took the child?"
I paused as more information came on about the missing child. The news reporter showed a picture of an Easter egg with loads of picture of m-m-my cousin Tommy. I hung up the phone and rushed to mom.
"MOM I THINK TOMMY IS MISSING AND I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY IM GOING TO AUNT JULIE'S HOUSE WITH ANNA!" I screamed.
"Wait what?" Mom replied just as confused as me.
"LOOK AT THE NEWS!"
I didn't want to waist anymore time so I put on my shoes and went out the door. Anna's house was just a few minutes away but for some reason today as I was walking it seemed like forever. Had I taken a wrong turn or what? I then suddenly felt as if someone was watching me or I was being followed. I shivered. Anna's house was just in view. I ran without stopping. As I was at the porch I seen something. Something that terrified me. Quickly, I let myself in hoping Anna wouldn't be too mad. But to my surprise she was fine.
"Did you see that thing to. I was walking over to yours and I seen it," Anna said in a whisper.
"Yeah I did see it and I think I know how Tommy was captured now," I replied.
Suddenly a loud scream happened. Then a crash. And finally a van driving away. We quickly rushed to the window trying to see what happened. I looked at Anna trying to be brave. Anna looked back then ran outside trying to stop the van. I didn't know what to do so just followed but in my gut I knew that was a mistake..
