"My car or yours?" I asked Eli
"Mine" he said swinging his keys, "Yours is a piece of shit."
"HEY!! You know what, I love my baby, screw you!"
He laughed for a long time. We got into the car. Eli struggled to start the old Buick.
"Are you fucking serious," Eli said a little louder than he has meant to.
"Why the profanity?" I smirked as I asked.
"Not right now Care Bear" Eli whispered. I could tell he wasn't to pissed because he called me Care Bear.
"Okay..." I mumbled. Even though he wasn't mad at me I still felt it was my fault.
"Sorry Care Bear...I'm just meant to leave tomorrow, and I really need to get out of this small ass town..." Eli started
"I'm sorry that really sucks" I whispered in my head
"I'd love to!!!" Eli squealed.
I stared at Eli "What?" I questioned.
"I'd love to go with you Care Bear!!" Eli said.
"....But...wait what?" I said very confused.
"Babe you just invited me to go with you" Eli said seriously.
I stared at him then nodded no way I was getting out of this.
"Neither of our parents can know. Okay? Okay." I told him.
He nodded. "Thanks babe" he said as he winked.
"Okay now shut up, we already wasted first period" I said.
He rolled his eyes. Then we started walking back to the school.
