It was May 20th and I was at school waiting for school to end so I could go to the dance. I didn't realize that when I got there was going to be a surprise for me. I had my permission slip, I walked up to the lady at the front desk and said I'm here with my friends for the dance. She took my permission slip and I walked up the steps to the cafeteria. I waited for my friends near the library. But I realized I didn't have my bag of glow-in-the-dark sticks. My glow-in-the-dark sticks helped with a trick I was going to play. I l looked over at Jasper who was now being entertained by a woman who was taking tickets. I walked over to Jasper and I saw his eyes glowing red. I thought to myself he is turning evil. Suddenly he saw me and came dashing over to me. He said " You! How could you betray me like that?" I responded calmly "Slow down! Who betrayed you?" I read in a book if your spirit animal turns evil DON't yell at it. Just talk to it calmly. He noticed how calm my voice was and I noticed that his eyes were changing color from red to yellow to red and then back to yellow. He responded and said "You!". I said " Ok, so what did I do?" He said "You left me here and I didn't know what to do?" I said, "Ok, I'm sorry I left you there I thought you were right behind me." He said "ok, next time can you check to see if I'm there." I said "Yeah, of course, anything for you. After I saw him say to himself mission accomplished. I think that Jasper was trying to teach me a lesson about that don't play tricks on people. He was also trying to teach me to wait for him.
