Time: 3:15 am
Date: present day, October 27,
Location: The docks
Subject: Octavia, Blake
The wind was blowing in every direction making that October rain feel like blizzard in mid-January. Her black hair was covering half her face and those raindrops and tears were blurring her vision so bad –she barely distinguishes the police car lights and streetlights. It was past midnight ages ago. The red, hot liquid that was dripping from her left eye arch was the only heat she was able to feel. The wind and the below zero temperature was not helping at all....she just witnessed her brother's death.
People all around her rushing to help injured bikers and cops caught in that crossfire where Bellamy Blake, a very well known stuntman in TonDC was shot by a notorious drug dealer cartel. A few car explosions and the unbearable sounds of first responders arriving followed the street fight.
'So this is it....I am all alone from now on. Huh!' that was her only thought when the coroner just dragged the black bag that wrapped Bellamy's body. 'I am not going to let you down brother, not this time. You hear me bro?' the train of her thoughts was abruptly cut by one of the officer's voice.
- Miss Blake are you okay? Do you need medical attention? Turning her head to the left, she saw a tall figure approaching.
- No, no... I am...fine. I said blinking faster to regain some kind of focus
- I am Special Agent Woods; I have a few questions for you Miss Blake. I see you are bleeding, let's go get that stitched up and talk. She waved her badge and ID in my face but who had time to literally focus on it.
- Ok. I said that not even thinking my next move. Special Agent, that means serious shit. After all TonDC always had its drug dealers and gangs, sucks to be part of a gang.
I was walking towards the nearest ambulance when I noticed those black SUVs that FBI has. Fancy bringing the feds in the street. I bet they will not find shit since it's raining and the only thing gangs are good at is covering tracks. The paramedic gestured me towards the rim of the ambulance. I just slumped there with noise. This special agent was mumbling something but I was too deep in my observation mode. Stitching that deep cut will definitely leave a nasty scar...great!
- So, Miss Blake, what brings you to the docks tonight?
- Uhm...my brother, I got a phone call from him asking me to be here around midnight. Nothing shady, this is our special place of hanging out, and I have a yacht.
The agent was taking notes like a good student she was. I had time to check her a bit – tall, dark and handsome; troublemaker in a nutshell. Those long fingers and the two blonde highlights made her look too cute for a fed but still...Now was not the time to check her as a date or something but rather focus on her questions and name.
- We will check the information. She said putting her pen and notebook aside.
- Ok...anything else you need to know?
- Have you ever seen or talked to this people? She handed me a few pictures with some of the faces circled with a red marker.
As I was shuffling between the pictures, one caught my attention. That blonde-haired woman with pink hair tips, that denim jacket and huge eyes, sorry boobs, sorry eyes...Griffin, fucking Clarke Griffin I said half loudly.
- Excuse me Miss Blake, what did you said?
- Clarke Griffin, this is the one who shot my brother Bellamy. I showed her that picture and pointed towards Griffin.
- I see, do you know the suspect?
- The suspect??! She is the murderer!!!!!!!
- Miss Blake please remain calm or I have to use the force to calm you down.
- Clarke Griffin was my roommate at University and last time I talked to her was at my brother's wedding almost 5 years ago.
- Could you possibly think of any motive she might have had to kill your brother?
- No, not that I know of.
- Miss Blake I must attend my colleagues for further investigations. Here is my card in case you remember something else that could help.
She handed me a white card with a blue writing on it: Special Agent Anya Woods, FBI consultant, phone. Woods...why do I sense a familiarity in this name?! I cannot think too much this morning, my head is hurting and I am empty inside, dead and yet full of rage. I swear I want to turn back time and put myself in Bellamy's place. Why him? Why?!!!! I must find Griffin and take her eyes out or to tear her heart out. I got up and started to walk towards my bike. For the first time in hours felt the coldness and the rain of that October morning. I hate this; I cannot focus or have one single thought other than revenge. Clarke Griffin, I am coming for you. As I was walking faster to the farther parking spot, I saw a girl standing next to my bike, actually leaning against my bike. I do not have time for another idiot and I really need to get home and tell Josephine what just happened. Approaching the girl I got my hand in the left pocket of my biker jacket and firmly gripped my Sig Sauer P320, removing its safety just in case I have to use it. The girl was looking in the distance as if she was expecting someone or a signal. Her back towards me. Judging by the way she was dressed and her ponytail could easily one of Clarke's gang members waiting to finish the job. I pulled out my gun without even thinking twice. Keeping a safe distance between the target and me, I spoke with an authoritarian tone:
- Hands up and slowly turn towards me. I have a gun aiming for your head, if you try anything you are dropping dead in 2 seconds.
The girl raised her hands and slowly turned around revealing her almost white face. In the dim light of the streetlights, I saw her face and immediately lowered my gun, tossing it in the pocket, tears falling down my cheeks like hot flames and I said in a lower tone:
- Lexa?!
