Lisa

Deep in the woods far away from any civilization, lived the Wilson family. They lived in an old shack and they were a dysfunctional family due to the incident. The girl's name was Lisa, her father always blamed her for what happened and she was starting to get sick of it. Her anger grew each day he blamed her for it. She dreamt of grabbing her pillow and making him pay. She wished she could just leave her home. One night in her dream, she met a tall, dark figure that asked her if she would like to join them in Meraville. Meraville is a place where all of your dreams come true, or at least that's what the figure said. A boney hand reached out for Lisa. Lisa stopped, taking a moment to think about it before reaching out for the hand. Her hand linked with the figures, and for a moment she thought she saw a wicked grin spread across its face. Though, she didn't have time to look up to check before she got a pounding headache. The world around her started to warp and spin around her as it morphed into a different reality. When she fell into the so-called "dreamland" then she saw a piece of paper flying by. She grabbed it and began to read it.

Dear diary,

10/02/19XX

My life has been a nightmare since papa died. Mama has been in a deep depression lately and she has been blaming me for it ever since. Yesterday she lashed out at me and I couldn't do anything but sit there. I knew if I did anything it would just make it worse. I am still crying from what happened and I have been asking myself if it was my fault. That is all I have to write today. Goodbye.

"Who is that?" she asks as she stands up.

She looks around and sees a medieval town. She looked confused and walked around. All of the villagers were very kind when they saw her. She was even more perplexed to see that they seemed to know her. She walked around the town to see children laughing and smiling. "Why is everyone so happy and how do they know me?", she thinks as she wanders the streets of this very outdated town. She runs into a nearby alleyway, getting lost on her way through it. As she tries to escape she meets a group of criminals. She tries to run away but the other side is blocked. She called out for help but no one came. She panicked as the men drew near. Then suddenly guards came in. They tried to deescalate the situation but when they couldn't they rammed their swords into them. Then they dragged their swords down into them, cutting a big gash in their flesh. Their blood and intestines poured everywhere as their lifeless bodies fell on the floor. She screamed in fear and she started to fall to the ground. She was covered in the criminals' blood and she was trying to clean herself when one of the guards tried to calm her down as he reached out his hand to help her up.

She swatted the guard's hand away as she screamed, "You monsters!"

She got up and tried to run away before one of the guards grabbed her arm and asked her "Why are you running if you are a guard yourself?" She froze in place and looked down, seeing herself in armor. At her waist was a sword. She freaked out and ran out of the kingdom into the forest. At the entrance of the forest, she saw a raven and the forest was dense so she unsheathed her sword and started cutting down all of the vines and plants in her path. When they fell they turned into a blood-like substance. She went in further and further until he saw a hut. She was very suspicious of the hut but she was so cold and hungry that she entered anyway. She was happy to see that there was a place to rest. She then went in and ate some of the food there. Soon after she set out again. It had a bitter taste. She was happy to finally have gotten to eat something. She had been really hungry before then. After a little bit, she started to get dizzy and cough up blood. She was scared as she started to cough up more and more blood. She passed out and as she did she saw the creature again holding a black bottle of duskwing venom. They were giving off that same wicked smile she thought she saw earlier and soon she lost consciousness and she smiled back as her life faded from her.
