The Alice

Sphara

 What a beautiful girl Sphara was. She was a sweet girl who got perfect grades in school but she couldn't get over the loss of her mother. She lived in a fancy house at the top of the street. Her house was almost like a mansion. She was always so sad to live without her mom. She was the only living parent she had left and she died in a car accident. She just wished she could join her parents. She fell asleep and woke up in a pitch-black room that she tried to navigate around. As she wandered around she stumbled upon a door. Her curiosity got the better of her and she opened the door and fell in. She felt a shocking sensation and fell to the ground and she was confused as she walked around and found a paper laying on the ground from someone named Alice. It was crumbled and had dirt on it causing the date to be messed up and hard to read, but she could kind of read what it said. It read,

Dear diary,

11/21/19XX

Mama has passed away and I can't get over it. Even though she had hurt me I still cared for her. Now I am on my way to the little shack at the corner of the kingdom. They call this a homeless shelter. Mama was my only living relative and she died of the white plague. I am not old enough to get my cottage so I will just live there until I can get one. I will write my experiences in this book and hopefully, someone could help me escape from this nightmare.

"What did I just read?" she asks as she folded it up and put it in her pocket. She gets on her way down the dirt and gravel road. While she goes through the town everyone waves at her and smiles. She just forces a smile and looks back at them. She hears commotion coming from an alleyway so she runs over and finds a girl surrounded by criminals. She ran over and tried to help the girl. She soon realized that it was hopeless so she ran to get some help. I called for some of the men with swords to help her and they did. They ran up and killed the criminals. She smiled and laughed a bit as she was sprayed with blood. She was smiling as she walked off and wiped the blood off of herself. She walked through the town as she stumbled upon a library. She shrugged and entered. She found a book and started to read.
