After dinner, Billy was in the library looking at the picture of Dahlia when her brother entered. "You're actually her lover... aren't you?" Dexter says gently. Billy only nodded . " We met at LCU and we fell in love and married. When she left to come back here, we wrote to each other everyday and then one day she wrote me and told me she was worried about something. She was scared someone was going to hurt her. I was delayed by mid terms and didn't get here till now. If only I had gotten here sooner." Billy said feeling down. Dexter looked at him sympathetically and clapped him on the back. Billy felt tears forming in his eyes and he couldn't help a few tears falling down. At 10:00 they all retired for the night. Billy was dosing off when he smelled the familiar rose water perfume. He felt a gentle brush of her lips on his cheek. He woke and saw his wife. Dahlia's hair was solid white as well as her dress and skin. She was a beauty to behold even as a ghost. Billy gently pulled to himself and kissed her breaking the curse. She became human again. She kissed him back and husband and wife went to sleep.
