Leaning against the seat of Aizawa's car you gazed mindlessly out the window. The car filled with a warm silence you were drove through the city, buildings and trees past you in a mesmerizing ballet.

Aizawa couldn't stop glancing over to you, this was all to surreal to him. He stood at your funeral; he was one of the six who lifted your coffin. He held back the flood of tears as you were lowered six feet into the earth.

Yet here you sit.

So many words wanted to spill from his lips, he wanted so badly to express the pain you left behind, the urge was almost uncontrollable but he forced himself to allow silence to grace the car. He felt a thick tension vibrating off your skin, he couldn't understand why his nerves were on edge, he knew you. He knew the kind hearted person you were so why did it feel as if he was sitting beside a villain?

Taking a breath so deep your lungs expanded until they ached, you felt gravity pushing against your shoulders, leaving you feeling vacant. Your eyes ached as you watched the colors of the city blur, shifting into your seat you tried to ease the pressure brewing in your shoulder allowing the seatbelt slide upward.

Instantly your hand flew to your neck, a cocktail of fresh rage sliced with annoyance flowed through you like a title wave. Your cold fingers wrapped around the seatbelt brushing against your neck. You allowed it to snap back against your chest, all the while your eyes never leaving the cemetery-colored blur filling your passenger window.

Aizawa's eyes narrowed, seeing the display but said nothing as more questions brewed inside his skull. Were you still the kind hearted girl he knew?

Aizawa's home was similar to him, effortless and clean. You stood in the doorway staring into the simple layout.

"I know it's not like All Might's-" Aizawa's lazed voice filled the space between you. "-but it's home." He slipped on a pair of slippers before walking into the house. Your eyes glanced over to the unlocked front door.

"Meow." Your head turned, spotting the feline staring at you from the safety distance brings.

"I found her stranded in the rain-" Aizawa's voice picked your head up, he knelled down scratching the creature behind her ear. "-she doesn't bite."

You did.

When you didn't respond or move to remove your boots, Aizawa breathed through his noes directing you down the hall to an open door which now acted as your room.

"I know it's not much-" Aizawa muttered rubbing the back of his neck. "-Midnight picked out some clothes for you. We can go to the store after the meeting and grab a few things if you want..." Aizawa felt awkward, not knowing which words to pick out when addressing you.

Once again, you didn't feel a need to reply.

"The bathroom is a few doors down the hall next to my room. The uh-" He gestured to the GPS monitor. "-anklet is waterproof so you can take a shower."

Aizawa studied you as you gazed around the room, he shifted feet before clearing this throat.

"I'm going to make dinner." He proclaimed the tension having been to much, leaving you alone in the unfamiliar room with nothing but your bullying thoughts to accompany you. You walked to the foot of the bed, brushing your gloved fingers over the material of the clothes neatly folded. You blinked, taking another deep breath looking out the window seeing the rain drip.

Ignoring the fluffy blankets, you gritted your teeth as you maneuvered to lie down. The gun shot on your shoulder was proving it be a nuisance.

You hung your feet over the edge of the bed, feeling a strange sense to not dirty Aizawa's clean sheets with your boots. The moment you sighed your muscles collapsed, feeling them loosen against the soft mattress your eyes closed on their own, dropping you into a shallow pool of sleep.
