Vijay POV
I tried turning on my phone, but as soon as I did my ex Ratsie started mass calling me. I felt like punching her little rat nose right into her face. Why won't she leave me alone? I have to walk to the payphone now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was chilly outside. The wind blew past me, and so did a gust of hope. I could get over Ratsie, I don't know if she could do the same but,, That isn't my problem anyway.
The payphone was in terrible condition. Loose wires that looked like they could short circuit any moment were just left around. The keypad's looked like they were going to pop right out! Nevertheless I punched in my friend Renjun's number. 90000 54312.
"Hello welcome to Motorphone customer services!"
"What?"
"Hello sir how can I help you?"
"I think I got the wrong number."
"Oh? Should I redirect the number?"
"No thanks! BAIIIIIIIIIIIII!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the end I did call Renjun. He was moving back in with me! I was really happy I would meet my friend again. But that wasn't what stuck with me. What stuck with me was that girl's sweet voice. It felt like floating on clouds. She brought a new wave of fresh air with her voice alone. I wanted to hear it again. I shouldn't have cut the call. I will never meet her again. But fate has it's own twisted rules. Maybe I will meet her someday............ someday...........
