Right around Mason Street, lived the Murrays. There's Will Murray , the father. Ellyson Murray, the big brother. And Emsy Murray, the youngest child. Neighbors seem to think they're an 'eh, okay' family, but they're not. If you think there's yelling, fighting, and screaming in a family house every 16 hours a day is normal, then you've got a problem. Well, for an intro; Will Murray works and owns a shop, 'Will Can', a mechanic shop for vehicles; Ellyson Murray, AKA 'Elly', is a senior high school student who is perfect at everything, but at home, a total lazy bum; and there's Emsy Murray, AKA 'Em', is a junior high school student, a star player and so cool at everything she does, but super bad at math. In case you were wondering, Em and Elly's mother passed away when they were both very young, and they're still bummed about it.
It was the first week of August, and yes, school was back on. There's always that feeling when you're too excited or nervous, but also too lazy to do something. Emsy was still in her room, sleeping. Until her alarm clock goes off, she ignores it. The alarm clock goes off 5 minutes after, she ignores it again. The alarm clock goes off 5 minutes after again, she finally woke up. She then realized that she has school already, so she got up from her bed and walks lazily to the bathroom. Em took a shower, brushed her teeth, combed her hair, and whatever kids do to look pretty on their first day. After that, she went through her closet and picked out the outfit that she decided last night to wear for today; a white top, which she thinks goes with everything; a plaid skirt; a Welkins High School jacket; and some sneakers.
After she was all dressed up for school, she went downstairs and saw her brother eating a Twinkie while watching TV. "Never got through on that Twinkie addiction, huh?" Emsy said, as she was climbing down the stairs. "Haha", Elly faked his laugh with a serious face. "What a weird time to eat a Twinkie", Em said. "It's food ain't it?" Elly said, as he points to his devoured sponge cake. Em just rolled her eyes. As she reached downstairs, she started looking for her skateboard. She looked behind of their front door, it wasn't there. "Where's dad?" she asked Elly. "I'm not your navigator", Elly replied. "WHERE'S DAD?" Em asked once again furiously while she lays both of her hands on the couch, where his brother was sitting. "Shop", Elly answered with a sigh. "Well, how the hell am I gonna go to school now?" Em said, sort of panicking. "There's a bus, dufus", Elly said while looking at her like 'seriously?'. "I don't ride buses anymore", Em answered. "Ha! Scared", Elly said with a chuckle. "Shut up", Em said. At that moment, she received a thought that her skateboard might be in their garage. "Where're the garage keys?" Em asked her brother. "Table", he replied, but still focused on finishing the sponge cake and on eyes on the TV. "Thanks", Emsy said while grabbing the keys from the dining table, then ran towards their front door. "Stay out of my wheels!" Elly shouted.
Emsy quickly opened the garage door and saw her skateboard lying on the backseat of her brother's car. "Airhead", she said to herself. She then grabbed her skateboard, rolled it on the ground, and rode it. Her routine while riding the skateboard is actually really fun; in mornings, she first plugs her headphones to her mixtape player, with all the songs, she and her mother loves; she do tricks and flips to not bore herself up; and goes to a convenience store along the way and buy some breakfast.
When Em finally reached Welkins High, she immediately started looking for her friend, Adelaine Coucher, through the huge crowd of students. Adelaine, AKA 'Ady', is the best friend of Em since elementary. She's a very artistic and intelligent person, but a klutz at times. When Em saw Ady , she waved at her and caught her attention. As soon as Ady saw Em, she quickly got through the crowd, running. "Hello!" Ady greeted. "So... have you already checked the sections?" she then asked. "Not yet, you?" Em replied with the same question. "Nope", Ady said. "Look, if we don't have the same section this year, there's always next year, right?" Ady said while Em was looking for something in her bag. Ady looked at her, waiting for a reply. "Huh?" Em said as she stopped on what she's doing. "Oh my... come on", Ady said, then grabbed Em's hand to go to the announcement board. They walked through the crowd of students who were also checking the announcement board on what section they are in. The two friends squeezed themselves through the crowd. And Ady, who's a well mannered person, was saying "excuse us" every 5 seconds and was starting to annoy some of the students. When they were already in front of the announcement board, they immediately checked their names. Ady who has a poor eyesight, was having trouble looking for her name. When she finally found it, she said, "There I am! Section C7." "Dude, we have the same section!" Em said with glee. "Oh great, Austin Ford is also there", she then realized that her enemy is also classmates with her. "I'm sorry, but there are a thousand of students here waiting for you", one student behind them said. "Oh my God, we're so sorry", Ady said while she and Em stepped aside.
