THE CURSE

ANGEL POV

as soon as I saw what was inside I became speechless for a minute . It was a very old scroll . So old that if we held it too tight it would crumble to pieces .

RYO - SO WHO IS IT FROM dad asked me

I checked for a name but there was none , the same with the address .

ANGEL - IT IS NOT MENTIONED I said looking at the cover

my eyes then fell on the scroll , I looked at dad . He signalled me to open it . So I did . I slowly opened it . Making sure I am not damaging it . I finally managed to open it . There was something written in it . The words were too faded so I brought it closer to my face to read what it was . And when I finally managed to read it . I almost dropped the scroll in shock.  But thank God dad catched it in time

RYO - WHAT IS WRITTEN IN THIS . I CANT SEE IT . he said trying to read it

ANGEL - IT CAN BE BROKEN I said in a whisper

RYO - WHAT CAN BE BROKEN he asked in a confused tone

ANGEL - THE CURSE IT CAN BE BROKEN I said as I looked at him in the eye

I then took the scroll out from his hand and held it against the sunlight so he can read it .

And just like I expected he was able to read it . and said

RYO - I UNDERSTAND THE FIRST ONE , BUT WHAT ABOUT THE SECOND ONE HE SAID POINTING AT THE WORDINGS

OZUMA - THATS WHY WE ARE HERE he said as he jumped in from the window

MARIAM - YEP she said as she jumped beside ozuma

Dad was startled by these two jumping in that he ended up falling

I sighed and said

ANGEL - OZUMA WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT JUMPING IN AND SCARING PEOPLE I asked in a firm tone

He just waved his hand in dismissal and took the scroll from me

OZUMA - YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT THIS IS FOR DONT YOU he asked pointing at the second passage

I nodded

MARIAM - OKAY THE LISTEN CLOSELY BOTH OF YOU she said eyeing me and dad

MARIAM POV

ughh how eager I am to tell this story to her but like everytime ozuma interrupted once again

OZUMA - SO BY THE LOOKS OF IT SEEMS THAT YOU REMEMBER YOUR PAST .
