Secret: Dangerous Romance

Chapter 1

The theme of this story is a bit of a cliché. You know..🙄 the cop and the mafia/gang boss/leader, but I like it so I wrote it! 😤 

But this one is a bit different. It has a deeper story. It's more than the love story between a cop and a gangster. And there is a bit of a twist (character's personality and identity)🤭

As they were sitting in the car, looking at the bar's entrance, waiting for the plan to start, Han quietly spoke. 

"I need to pee. You stay here and keep looking. I'll be right back. " he said, getting out of the car. 

After less than a minute he was back. He knocked on the window and told Seungmin to get out. 

"Look over there." he pointed at the hotel behind them. Seungmin looked confused. 

"What? Is there something wrong? " he asked his partner before looking back at the bar so he won't miss something. 

"I think we got the place wrong. " Han said, confusing Seungmin even more. 

"What do you mean-!? " he said, noticing that Han was right. The person they were looking for was at the hotel's entrance getting in a black van. 

"Let's call the chief. We need a new plan." Han said, dialing his number. 

"What do we do? He's going to get away! " Seungmin panicked, but Han hushed him, listening to the person on the other side of the line. 

After the call, he put his hand on Seungmin's shoulder and explained. 

"They told me that the address wasn't wrong, which means the info was either leaked or was wrong in the first place. " Seungmin nodded, listening carefully to his partner. 

"Now... " Han sighed. "They said to deal with it ourselves, so I thought of a plan, but it's a bit dangerous." Seungmin nodded with nervous eyes. 

"Listen carefully. You are going to enter the bar. That way, they will think that their plan worked, and they can escape. And while you are inside, I'm going to go after the van, where our target is." Han explained with a determined look. But Seungmin was not. He was scared, knowing that his partner is going alone after the most dangerous gang boss. But he didn't have a choice. He had to either agree to this plan or abandon the mission, most likely getting an earful from their boss. 

"Okay, but... Will you be fine? I'm worried. I can't leave you alone with those cruel people." Seungmin said with a worried look. 

"Don't worry. I'll be fine. I have a plan for that." he said, getting something out of his pocket. "Take this and hold on to it." Seungmin nodded and took it, looking at it with a curious face. 

"This device will send you a signal when I'm in danger. You just need to give the coordinates, written on the screen, to the people in the monitoring room and they will find my whereabouts." he explained to his partner, making sure he understood. 

"Are you sure it will work? And even if it does, won't that mean you are already in danger. I don't think I can do this. " Seungmin said, tearing up and looking at Han with a worried and sad face. 

"Believe me! Everything will be fine. Just make sure you do what I told you. Okay? " Han reassured his partner and pressed him to go and start the new plan. Seungmin did as told and went inside the bar, making sure everyone noticed him. 

Han saw the black van go and went after it. After 30 minutes of driving, the van stopped in front of an abandoned warehouse, and three people got off. Han stopped his car a bit farther and got off too. Then he went inside with them.
