Mia's POV-
Getting out of the shower I had a towel wrapped around my body as I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror for a couple of seconds and sighed. It was Monday, the day everyone hates, and of course along with that came school. Summer holidays had just ended and Senior year was about to start. I sighed again thinking about school, how is everyone going to treat me this year? will it be different from last year or exactly the same? I sighed once again and turned the tub on as I brushed my teeth.
After a few minutes I walked into my connected bedroom. I looked down at the outfit I had picked. I had picked a grey pullover sweater with blue skinny jeans, white low top converse and a black bikers jacket. As I took my time to get dressed I looked over at the time and sighed. I had 25 minutes left that should be enough. Walking towards my large mirror I looked at my outfit and grinned. I always loved my style and I think my friends did too, but either way I did not care what they thought.
I pulled open the small drawer next to my mirror and took out my blowdrier and plugged it into the wall. I brushed my hair before I started blowdrying it and smiled slightly as I felt proud of my hair colour. Of course it wasn't my natural hair colour but I think it suited me more than my natural hair colour. In the middle of the summer I had decided to dye my hair red. Not completely red, but it was a mixture between red, light brown and a tint of orange. At first it looked weird but now I just love it.
After I blowdried my hair I turned off my blowdrier and placed it back into my drawer as I then picked up a hair band and pulled half of my hair up in a ponytail then placed my ray-bans sunglasses on top of my head. Glancing at the clock I saw that I had 15 minutes left and I closed my eyes preparing for-
"MIA HURRY UP YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" My mums voice boomed from downstairs and I groaned and rolled my eyes.
"I'LL BE DOWNSTAIRS IN A SECOND." I yelled back as I took my make up bag out and looked through it. Alright so it's school and I'm not allowed a lot of make up on my face. I sighed reminding myself as I then started applying my foundation and then a slight tint of blush before moving to my favourite. Eyeliner. I wasn't the best person to do wings so I did not even bother but I still used eyeliner without doing the wing. So I applied my liquid eyeliner on my top eyelid and then on my waterline I applied a pencil eyeliner and smiled while I took my light natural volume mascara and applied that as well. Glancing at the wall I smirked.
"MIA!" I hear my mum yelling again and I laughed a bit and picked up my backpack and walked downstairs. "Finally!" My mum said from the kitchen and I rolled my eyes. "Are you ready to go?" She said and looked at me and smiled a bit. I nodded and gave her a slight smile.
"Great!" She exclaimed and picked up her bag as she walked towards the front door as I followed her. Two more weeks before I get my driving lesson and no more mum or Amy driving me to school. I reminded myself and smiled at the thought as I walked towards her car.

After arriving at school I sighed looking from the cars window and cursing the school. This hellhole. I said in my mind and then glanced at my mum. "Thanks for the ride mum, I'll make sure to tell Amy to pick me up in the mornings." I mumbled yet smiled and opened the door as I got out and waved goodbye at her as she nodded slightly and then waved back and drove off.I turned around and glanced at the students outside and took a deep beath before walking towards the gates and inside. I hurriedly walked inside the school and towards the secretary and pushed the door open and bumped into someone.
"I'm so sorry!" I said and looked up meeting a pair of hazel eyes that were looking back at me. I stood a bit straighter still looking into the persons eyes and heard an 'It's alright' from him as he cough slightly and walked past me giving me a slight smile. I sighed and shook my head while I glanced at him walking away. He had light brown hair and a perfectly build body, wearing jeans with a white t-shirt and a jacket. I sighed no chance I thought to myself and walked further into the secretaries office while I asked her for my schedule after I told her my name.

I wouldn't groan like any other person because I had actually chosen lessons that entertained me and I loved so I didn't mind if I had any of them every day of the week. I walked towards my English class and looked down at my watch and noticed that I still had 5 minutes for the bell to ring.
Looking around I pulled out my phone and started texting Amy asking her where she was and what her schedule was while I told her mine.
Me: Hey u, where are u? Class starts in about 5 min and I've got English first thing. x
Amyisthabest: Heyyy gurl, I know we saw each other like two days ago but I've missed u! I've got English too omg! I just need to go get my schedule, ran a bit late, see ya in class xx
I laughed a bit as I shook my head. That was definitely Amy, always late. I knew her since we were 5 and nothing has changed. We grew up but still bestest friends ever. I trust her more than anyone else, even my mum.
I looked around while placing my phone in my pocket and waited for Amy After a couple of minutes the bell rang and at the same time Amy appeared to my side, her breathing uneven.
"Did I make it? Of course I made it! I always make it!" She rumbled and then looked at me. "Right? I always make it, right?" I laughed and hugged her while I nodded.
"Yes you do Amy, yes you do." I smiled brightly at her and then grabbed her wrist and started pulling her towards the class door. "Now come on!" I heard her laughing and I grinned. I was always hyper and energetic around her. "By the way, can you give me rides in the mornings and sometimes after school? Without being late, you know how my mum-"
"Yeah of course M, I know and obviously I would never make you late!" She said while grinning making me grin and sat down next to her in class.
