CHAPTER1: NEW SCHOOL

Todays the first day at Dan's new school after barely graduating from his former school due to his restive behaviour to his new school "St.Francis college", even though his parents did little to no research on the school upon hearing that it was a catholic owned school they enrolled their son with no hesitation with the impression that all catholic owned schools were strict institutions which would never condone any form of tranny or violence which their son was very fond of, although to their dismay this wasn't the case for "St.Francis College", what appears as a prestigious montessori on the outside is actually the most violent school in all of Osun with each class of students forming gangs and factions and fights being held secretly on different locations around the school, the aforementioned factions even hold brawls among each other with so much violence that is almost on the level of gang wars, this was indeed the true colour of "St.Francis College",

This was something Dan found out almost immediately on his first day of school as he witnessed a fellow fresher being bullied by one of the seniors, Dan being someone who hated bullying jumped in to save the poor lad but to his surprise the boy whom he wanted to rescue screamed at him to run away before provoking the seniors , dan chuckled "you dont know who your're talking to"dan said, "just sit and watch me beat this bastards up" he continued, the seniors laughed profusely at Dan, the supposed leader of the group asked for Dans name, "Im Dan Adekunle and im going to show you why you dont pick on just anyone you think is weak" dan replied, after several more minutes of laughter from the seniors, the leader of the group walked up and said, "i'm akin the senior that will send you to the hospital on your first day of school!" he yelled, having been tired of the discussion akin ordered one of his boys to give dan a thorough thrashing, the boy immediately dashed at dan to land a strong punch on his face and in an instant dan grabs the seniors hand and gives him a kick that sends him flying, he seemed to be knocked unconscious immediately, akins gang is beyond perplexed as all they could do was stare at dan in pure freight, they were all shaking except for akin who infact laughed again and seemed a bit delighted he then said to his boys "you guys shouldnt be surprised do you really think he would stand up to seniors like that without having anything to show for it" , he further added "dan is it? I like juniors like you who are strong, but no matter what you must learn to respect your seniors!", immediately after finishing his statement akin dashed at dan with such impeccable speed that he couldnt react on time, akin then landed a ferocious punch that sent dan on the ground in an instant, akin thinking dan had learnt his lesson left him lying on the floor and began to walk away he was stopped in his tracks when he heard dan say "is that all you got?", "what kind of senior bullies his junior and expects respect" dan said, this made akin very impressed he was suprised dan could stil stand after that punch. The junior dan had come to save was now standing behind him and cheering him on for he knew if dan failed to beat them they would both take the fall and then again he knew dan didnt stand a chance and was looking for the slightest opportunity to escape, dan upon seeing the boy cheer him on felt energized and charged straight towards akin, akin easily tripped him and made him fall flat on the ground which was quite embarassing but dan unexpectedly got up in a split second and landed a serious punch on akins face without flinching akin returned his own and soon the two began to exchange blows in an instantaenious manner , akin showed visible prowess in his fighting skills, this was obviously not his first fight, dan on the other hand was also holding his own and refusing to let down, dan however changed it up when he landed a suprise kick on akin that made him fall to his knee, akins boys looked worried and contemplated whether or not to help their boss, he however told them to stay out of it, akin stood, he unknotted his tie and wore a very serious and scary face, now he unbuckled his belt which he intended to use as a weapon against dan, dan looked unsuprised and even gestured for akin to come at him, akin was immediately agitated by the gesture and said "now ill show you pepper!".

Akin started swinging his belt around dan like a father trying to scold his son, but dan was dodging it which so much ease it was as though he bacame faster than before, akin noticed this great increase in dans mobility and agility and realized something very important, he realized that dan was actually holding back before and just pretending to be slower than him upon the immediate realization of this, dan grabbed akins belt and used it on his face, this caused the junior dan was defending to let out a giggle. Dan then turned the whole situation around and immediately started beating akin he threw kicks and jabs and uppercuts that were too fast for akin to dodge, akins boys could only watch in shame as their leader was thoroughly beaten by a junior much younger than them as dan was about to use his finishing move on akin, akins goons decided that they could not just watch as their leader was being battered, they all jumped dan to save their leader. even though dan was now facing 7 hefty boys he still held his own and was able to land a few attacks, but he was much to outnumbered and was inevitably overpowered by the seniors, the boys formed a circle around dan and they all started kicking and whipping and even spitting on him, the overpowered fighter that was winning his fight just a moment ago was now utterly powerless against his foes, dan screamed"you cowards! why dont you face me one on one so you can end up like your leader!" the boys upon hearing this increased the rate of their beatings until dan finally passed out.

Hours later dan woke up at the middle of the school he immediately recalled the events that led to him passing out he saw that the boy he wanted to protect from the bullies had also been beaten to pulp and also laid unconcious beside a tree, dan was sad that the boy he wanted to save from the bullies was still eventually beaten he felt ashamed he gathered up some strength and staggered to the boy and took him to the sick bay(infirmary) to get treated, he himself was patched up by the school nurse who was already used to treating victims of school fights, upon leaving the sick bay dan realized that he hadnt even attended any classes yet and this was his first day, he had already missed the first five periods due to the fight, he knew his class and began limping towards it as he passed through other classes students looked at him through the windows (while being thought by teachers)with some sursprised and shocked at his injuries and most were unshaken as they knew just how vioent the school was, upon arriving at his class he was suprised and happy that no teacher was there at the moment as he didnt want to answer any questions about his injuries, the students in the class stared at dan for a brief moment then continued there various activities and discussions, dan sat on a chair in the corner of the class,he grabbed his backpack which had been with him the whole time he brought out apple and began gently munching on it, just then he was approached by a boy, "hey,my name's ade whats yours?"........
