A girl named Mai has been alone her whole life. First her father leaves her mom and then was bullied by Greenwood and her group. Mai tells her mom about this but she does not pay attention a lot. When the robots first came out, her mother has been obsessed with them and hardly gives any love to her own daughter. Mai anger towards robots grew when she grew up. But that all changed when the Gen 6 launch.

Mai was sitting in the back seat and with her dog while her mom named Molly was looking at videos from her Q-Bot while the car was driving it self through the city. Molly noticed how messy Mai's hair was and asked her to fix it. "I like it this way." Mai said. Her mom then pulled out a brush and pressed a button and the brush came to life. "Seriously, does everything have to be a robot with you?" Mai asked her mothers actions.

"Oh c'mon it's cute." She said as she poked the brush. "I can do it myself." Mai said sitting up and licked her hand and fixed her hair with it. "You know it's not going to kill you to accept a little help." Her mother said. "Yea." The brush agreed. "Your not in this alone." She finally said. That made Mai look up and give her mother a look. Molly finally gave up and let the brush do it's thing.

"Somebody needs a makeover!" The brush exclaimed as he number from where he was and went on Mai hair. Mai tried to get the brush off of her but he refused and it was like that for the rest of the car ride.

They arrived at a tall building that has a lot of people crowded inside and at the entrance. Mai then opened the car door but this time she has flowers in her hair and threw the brush inside the car and closed the door. "Happy?" She said sarcastically. Her mom looked at her, "You look nice Mai." Her mother said and then went to enter the building. Mai took off the flowers in her hair and went up to catch up with her mom. 

There was a bunch of people there. Mai followed her mom to the escalator and waited in line. "Aren't you excited Mai?" Her mother asked. "You didn't tel me there was going to be a line." Mai said annoyed. " Come on Mai. The new Gen 6 is going to make this old thing obsolete." She paused after she said. She looked down at the robot in front of them.

"Sorry." She apologized. "Not a problem. The new Gen 6's slightly bigger screen will complete you emotionally in ways I never could." He responded. "it's cool, you love robots more than you love me. Totally get it." She said out loud. "What's that honey?" Her mom asked. Mai groaned "Just super excited about the awesome robots mom." 

She looked down and saw the soccer stadium. "Mom. Mom. Molly! Mom." Her mother hummed. "Is it ok if I check out to stadium?" She asked her. "Oh its got a headphone jack." Molly said not listening to Mai. Mai turned around and started going down the escalator. "Excuse me miss. You appear to be going down on the up escalator. Would you like to up the up escalator or down the down-?" A robot appeared but Mai jumped to get a hold of it.

Mai looked out the window and she saw the stadium in amazement. Then the robot that the was on was breaking down. Sooner or later the robot began to break down and she fell and landed on the ground. She got up and heard sirens behind her. "Friendly reminder, all children must be accompanied by an adult." The police bot said. "You coming with me young lady." He continued. "What?" Mai said as she turned around. 

"Your just making it harder for yourself and me." He said as his hand turned into a taser. The robot from earlier hit a wall which caught the attention of the officer and Mai used this as a chance to escape. The officer turned around and noticed she was not there. "Hey come back her you little." The officer said.

Mai ran away but ended up seeing two other robot officers. "I said- -what?" One of the officer said before noticing Mai. She looked around for a piece to go before seeing a hatch for cleaner bots and quickly went through the hatch "You're not allowed in there." He said before the hatch closed.

Mai looked around before she fell from the platform below her and fell in another room. She looked up and got spooked by a poster. She finally relaxed and got up to look around and she heard a male voice. "The first learning AI." Dr. Tanner Rice said. "Well not the first." His companion said. 

'Yea well not the first. but we done it right this time." "Great now let's get them out of here." "No! They have to much to learn before they are ready for the job they we need them to desperately perform." As the both argued Mai is trying to get a better look without getting caught. "Ok, gotta go." "You are my last and best hope. My projects 77."

"You said 'remind me at two o'clock'." "You're not perfect. But then perfect is the enemy of good, isn't it?" Dr. Rice said as he is ignoring him. 'Because it's two o'clock." Alfredo said once again. "Oh, my- would you just give me a minute, ok? One minute! You know how dangerous what we built is? It's kind of a big deal. Let me check. Uh yeah it kinda of the biggest deal ever." He said furiously."How about 'thank you for the reminder Alfredo?" Both argued as the door closed behind them.

Mai went out of her hiding place and went to exit the room but stopped and looked behind her. Two robots incomplete but their head and torso attached to each other. Also noticing one if female while the other is male. She looked at both and saw two hands in front of her one of them is pointing at her and the other offering a hand when you fall.

Mai looked at both of them and reached her hand to one of them and accidentally made it fall. Then the machines when putting both of the robots together while Mai is trying to get out of the way but dropped her bag. Once finished Mai was against the both bots chests. The final part on the chest was put in place and Mai looked up to see if anything will happen. 

On both of the bots screen faces, two green circles appeared on their screens and looked down at her. "Hello." Both said, and Mai just backed up. "What's you name?" 23 asked her. Mai ignored his question and bend down to grab her bag. She smacked his hand away and picked her bag up. "Stupid Robots." She mumbled. "Hello Stupid Robots. What's this for?" 23 asked her while holding her bag in the air and Mai attached to it. 

"No, both of you are the stupid robots." Mai said. "We're the stupid robots?" 23 said questioning her. "When will Dr. Rice come back? And 23 let go of her bag." 24 said. "Ok." He replied as he dropped it with Mai. She picked herself up and both robots detached the wires from their back. And Mai got startled by this.

"Hey what are you two doing?" "We're following you." 23 answered. "You do realize that is creepy 23." 24 said to him. "She is right that is super creepy." Mai agreeing. "like really what are you thinking? We hang out become best buds. Take on the world and share amazing discovery together?" Mai said as an example. "Ok." 23 said.

"Yea you are delusional." When she turned around, she bumped into a police robot. "Hey, you are definitely not aloud in here sweetheart." The bot said grabbing her arm. Mai was trying to get out of his grip so she can grab her bag. The door closed and you can still hear them arguing. Both robots looked at each other, unsure what to do.

24 looked at the ground and saw her backpack and picked it up. She opened and found some penciled with animal erasers with different facial expressions. "Unique." 24 said. While 23 stared in curiosity.

I am finished with this chapter! Sorry it took me so long to post. I am wondering if 23 and 24 are going to have a sibling relationship or romantic one. So I decided to do a vote.
