He dashed through the bushes as the wolves chased him.
Breathing heavily, he turned around and suddenly it felt he wasn’t able to run.
As he tried controlling his unresponsive legs, anxiety hit him hard enough for tears to once again stream.
The wolves eventually pounced on him, and bit him hard, but he couldn’t feel any pain, he screamed as his eyes opened.
'It was just a nightmare. Just a nightmare,'
he convinced himself, or at least tried to.
He looked around to see that it was morning, but the forest was still foggy.
He got up and tried searching the tent to find anything in it.
He found a torch, a pocket knife, and a large bag, which was filled with essentials.
He looked forward with shaky eyes, just wanting to get out of this forest.
He got out of the cave and went to a higher place, the rock which the wolves from last night had stood on.
He walked for a while, until he finally reached on top of the rock.
He then saw the whole forest, he then took out a paper and a pen from the bag, and he sketched the whole forest, trying his best to come up with an escape plan to get out of this hellhole.
The sun was quickly setting and he panicked as he tried finding a place to stay in.
He couldn’t go back to the cave as the creatures might attack him like the previous travellers, but he couldn’t even stay on the rock since the wolves may come back.
His anxiety slowly kicked in, random thoughts raced through his mind, overflowing his mind and making him tear up once again, it was too much and too fast for him to comprehend.
As the sun was falling, so were his hopes.
He became more fidgety as time passed, troubled on choosing where to hide.
