                       Christina's POV
It was Saturday  afternoon after had lunch that I was busy writing my friend a message on WhatsApp until my mom stormed in my room without knocking to ask if I could go with her to church and help out. It is not like I had a choice whether I should go or stay home. Don't get me wrong I love church but how my mom put it when it comes to church is something else. Either way I got up, quickly dressed and got my things that I needed to go with ready.

The morning of that Saturday

Earlier that Saturday morning we were at church since we are Adventist, my mom sat next too a gentleman who she really loved due to his singing voice and very well mannered guy. Ever since she met him, she never stop talking about him. It was Youth day. So After church, all the youth went outside to take a group picture and there David was. My first time seeing him and you won't believe how my heart felt when I looked at him. He took us the group pictures just to put it out there for you. Once that was done, I quickly went to the car, got in and just listened to music. Didn't have time to socialize; although I love socializing and getting to know people.  Mostly make them laugh.
There are days where i question my beauty, I question why i am the way I am due to insecurities and past experiences about how I look. And that Saturday was one of those days.

*Back to afternoon*

We got to church and my mom was talking way too much. To mind my own business I took my phone, watch some videos and talked with a little girl who was there that afternoon. As time went by David and his female friend entered  the church ground and my heart beat so fast that i thought something was wrong with me. He sat next to my mom and she went on expressing how she felt when he was sitting next to her in church. She continuously praised him non stop.

David has so many talents, he can:
Sing
Preach
And all the things you can imagine in a church guy.
He literally had most of the things i want/needed in a guy. At first i did not notice that he had most of the things i asked God in a guy until time went by.

My heart beat so fast I didn't even know whether i should tell him or keep quiet. Guess what I chose? You got it, i chose to keep my feelings to myself. Besides, that what most girls do when they have feelings for a guy, any guy. I decided to keep my feelings to myself and express it to my best friends instead. We have been friends since high school (Olivia and Emily) both from Zimbabwe and so is David. Many of us girls, we keep our feelings to ourselves due to us being afraid of rejection. In most occasions we keep it to ourselves because the guy might not feel the same way as we feel. Many times we like guys who we can never have a chance with and reject those who really love us.

Before I fell in love with David I honestly never wanted to date a Zim guy. Even my best friends can tell you that about him. Every time I had to think about me marrying one was a stressful moments but here I am in love with one.

I stood up where I was sitting to go and just take a walk. David looked at me and said Hey, how are you?
I replied nervously hi, I am well thank you. How are you?

David: I am well thank you. I'm David, you must be?

Christina: I am Christina

David: Is that a French name?

Christina: Yes

David: Wow, that is beautiful.  I need to learn French.

Christina: Why is it, if I may ask?

David: It is a very romantic language (laughing)

Christina: Wow okay. If you say so.

We left off to go where my mom and them were going, handing up food to people who need it. Those moments of exchanging words were the best moments and I wish we could do it again. I wish he could read my heart and know how I felt about him. Ever since than I wrote a prayer for him, speak to him to my friends, and I just keep faith that God's time is the best time.
