Raven was sitting outside of EverestPack camp, and news Starmber had a mysterious scar had spread fast.
To all the Packs, this spread fear everywhere.
Raven was on patrol, but he was waiting.
A cat pounced beside him and sat, their eyes gray.
His fur bristled, but the cat looked at him sadly.
"Raven? Is that you? I've... Been afflicted by my own curse. Luckily he's only captured this cat. But... Please don't fear killing me someday, brother."
The cat looked away, as Raven glared at them.
"I don't have a brother as far as I know. But I... Recognize your voice."
Raven would believe this cat, for now at least.
But why would I have reason to kill my own brother? He froze. What did he do to deserve it?
The cat looked at him.
I'm Shade. Father threw you in the river, and I wanted to get you back. So I made an injection.
But it shattered and injected me.
I saw a black and red cat... One whom smirked and laughed at suffering of others.
One who would control half of me.
And make me so evil, I would attack father on the eye.
And give him a scar.
Raven gaped at him.
Starmber was the only cat to have a new scar over his eye for cats his age at the time...
Starmber was his father.
