"I knew there as something off about him the minute I saw him looking at me." I told Jack.
He nodded, "Yeah, he's an idiot. You didn't deserve that. The weird thing is, Chad wasn't here on time. What kind of a boyfriend is he?"
"Hey, it's alright. He came after all, didn't he?" I asked.
"Yeah, after I decided to leave and check up on you." said Jack.
"That's what happened?"
"Yeah. He wasn't worried at all. He was just enjoying the party."
"Oh..."
Jack sighed, "I'm just glad you're alright." he got me into his arms, as my head rested on his chest.
"What if Jeremy comes back?" I asked.
"If he does, which I doubt, I wont let him bother you anymore. You've got nothing to worry about!" said Jack.
We then heard footsteps approaching us. Then Chad came in the view, "Hey! Keep your hands off of her!"
"Chad, it's fine. I'm used to it." I said.
"Used to it? What-- How many times has this happened?" asked Chad.
"Sometimes when we have playdates we do it." I said.
Chad paused, "Is there something I should know here?"
"No. It's just-- I've known Jack for most of my life. Like even before we met. So I trust him and I'm fine with this." I explained.
Chad frowned and crossed his arms, "If you had to choose between your boyfriend and best friend, who would it be?"
"Look, Chad. I love you, and of course, I will always try to be there for you. But I've known Jack since I was a child. And you and I only met in freshman year. So... It would be him" I said.
His face fell, "Right. Alright, ok. I see the way it is." he said before leaving.
"Chad--" I started.
"Just let him go. He'll come crawling back to you later." said Jack, I nodded.
I then remembered Chad mentioning something. He said that Jack liked me? I mean like... Liked me-liked me. Was it true?
Is that why he's always acting so jealous by me and Jack?
Do I not know something?
"Hey, Jack?" I asked, Jack hummed in response.
"You know how Chad mentioned you kinda... Liking me?" I asked.
"Try not to think much about that right now. You just got RAPED by your best friend's ex-boyfriend. You need to rest." He said, I nodded.
"C'mon. I'll carry you home." he said, picking me up bridal style. I grabbed onto his neck, as I slowly drifted to sleep.

I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to be met with someone who looked familiar.
"Who's there?" I asked.
"Aww, sweet pea. Forget about me so soon?" I recognized that voice. Then a little light came in the view, and the person became more clear.
Oh no...
"Jeremy?!" I asked in horror.
"I got Livvy back. Now it's time I really make you mine. You, me, and Liv can live happily ever after. Be mine, Ari." said Jeremy, getting closer to me.
"No... No! Stay away from me!" I screamed.
"Come on, Ari. Be my good little girl." said Jeremy, still getting closer and closer.
"No. No... NO! STOOOOOOOOP!" I screamed.
-----------------
I felt someone shaking me awake again.
"Ari? Ari! Are you ok?" asked a familiar voice.
"Jack?" I asked.
"Yeah, brownie. It's me. Bad dreams?" he asked, I nodded.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" he asked.
I shook my head, "No, I think I'm fine."
"All right." said Jack. He put his arm around me, and I snuggled into his chest. I felt safe like this. I wish I felt the same way with Chad, but it he's been weird lately.
I just hope he's alright.
