Y/N stared at Lilia, then she realised what she said, turning red as well.

"Not that way!" She shrieked.

Unbeknownst to her, Lilia felt his heart sink slightly. Though he had just met her in this life, his memories of previous lives made him feel like he had known her all his life, which in a way, was true.

They continued to chat throughout the day, arousing the suspicion of Silver, who had never seen his father act like how he did with Y/N, caring for her needs and acting like he was her lover. He didn't understand what had happened. Last he checked, Lilia had hardly talked to Y/N, and suddenly they're best friends? The next day, he stood at the edge of the forest near NRC, not long after the animals had disappeared, did he hear footsteps behind him.

"Good morning Silver-senpai," speak of the Devil and they shall come. Y/N stood at his side, looking at him with her blank grey eyes. Honestly, the way her eyes had no light nor life scared him.

"You..... what did you do to Father? He never has acted this way before!" Silver asked.

Y/N's eyes widened slightly before realising she and Lilia weren't as discreet with their chatting as she thought they had been.

"Do you seriously think, I, a person who cannot use magic, could do something to someone as powerful as Lilia-senpai? Clearly you are underestimating your dear father~" she chuckled.

Silver turned red in embarrassment. How could he have possibly thought that this powerless girl could do anything to his father? He mumbled a swift apology before returning to his room. Y/N watched as his figure retreated and called for Lilia.

"What is it you need N/N?" Lilia asked, curious as to why he had been summoned.

"Clearly we need to be more subtle." She says.

"Oh? Pray tell, did that dear son of mine find our relationship suspicious?" Lilia gazed at Y/N with a hint of amusement in his eyes, a smirk making its way onto his face.

"Of course, sharp as ever Lilia-senpai," she replied, eyes showing a moment of sadness before returning to their dull state.

Lilia hated them. Those dull eyes. They ruined Y/N's beautiful face. How he longed to be the one to bring colour and joy to those dull grey eyes.

"Say, Lilia? Do you think we can really break this curse?" Y/N asked, turning to the boy.

"I don't know..." for once, Lilia didn't know. For once he didn't have the answers.

Y/N picked at the skin on her hands, until they started bleeding slightly.

Lilia's pupils dilated slightly at the smell of blood. He shook his head to snap himself out of it, before turning to the first year.

"N/N, stop before I accidentally hurt you!" He covered his fangs which had popped out with his hands, not wanting to jump at the girl.

Y/N reached her bleeding hand out to him.

"Vampires don't have this reaction unless they haven't drank blood for a long time, why is it you have been starving yourself? Is it because you fear the taste of blood may drive you to hurt those you love?" She asked, pulling his hand away from his mouth, while offering hers up.

"If you continue to force yourself not to drink, you will eventually go insane without blood, and go on a rampage worse than overblot, because no amount of blood may be able to satisfy your bloodlust," she says.

Lilia looks at her with fearful eyes.

"But I'll hurt you...." He whispers.

"I've told you before, if you ever needed blood I'd give it to you, besides, pain doesn't bother me much anymore," Y/N looked him straight in the eyes, dead serious.
