I've known him since fourth grade, but we never talked. But today must have been different. He gave me a smile as he walked to his last period. I knew he only gave that smile to the girls he admired and liked. I could feel my face getting red. Colton shoved Brad towards me and all of Colton's and brads friends started to laugh.

I heard Colton say as they walked away "when are you going to do it? Don't be such a chicken."

Brad walked a bit more then turned around. Maybe he was just going to another calss. But that's when he said hi. I guess I didn't realize I have actually liked him and I am just realizing this now that I am a Junior in high school. His short brown hair with green eyes and his muscles visible through his football tee-shirt.

"Hey" I said back. Both of our faces red as a lobster. His friends have now formed a circle around us blocking people from going to class.

"Meet with me after school at my car and I will give you a ride home." his voice nervous in some ways but yet still calm.

" Sounds like a plan." I said to him with a smile. His friends looked a little disappointed.

"What was that?!!" asked Courtny.

" It sounded like a date to me" I said back laughing a bit.

"Well I have to get to class, text me with the details later." she said as she began to walk.

Once our class was over I headed over to his car. I found him sitting on the roof of his black 1976 Ford Mustang. I could see all his friends sitting in the back of the pick up truck next to us. This couldn't be good.

He walked over to the passenger side of the car and opened the door for me. I could hear him say to me softly so his friends couldn't hear "get in and ill take you somewhere away from those morons."

I sat down in the seat and put my buckle on. I have no idea where we are going or what he is going to do or what he is going to say. He starts to drive and we end up on the highway. "I am taking you to a special place." he said.

"Can I know where this special place is?"

"Nope. Just wait and see."

"Alright then. Be that way." I say laughing.
