My eyes searched the entire garden, nothing but police cars.
"Hello?" I asked
No sign of any movement or noise. I started minding my own business rather than looking around.
"Will you be my friend?" the voice begged; out of nowhere.
"Who's there?" I questioned
"You can't see me"
"Will you please come forward?" I still inquired. I was quite intimadated on this subsquent conversation arising.
"I am right here, in front of you"
"I don't think I can see you"
"Exactly"
"Well, who are you?"
"I am You"
"Stop playing this shitty trick on me." I now started losing my patience.
"It's no trick"
Irritated me turned to move just when dad called out to me. His work was done and we headed home. Through the car's window I stared at the tree whose roots looked like hairs of some night hag.
