Mew and Gulf we're childhood best friends. They're best friends since kindergarten and they became inseparable. They are always on each other's side. They would go to there school together, eat together, sit at each others side, play together. They even bath and sleep together.
Their parents would just agreed when either of them wants to sleep at each other's house. Because if not, those two will throw tantrums.
When they reached highschool, they became secretly possessive with each other.
Mew became more handsome and cute that Gulf always trying to stop his urge to punch those guys who's ogling their eyes on him and hide Mew on his pocket.
And for Mew, it's also the same. Their are some guys who's looking at Gulf with a dreamy expression in their faces but actually most of it are girls.
And right now, they are on there way to school, they're now on there 4th year in highschool. They're both at the backseat of Gulf's car because he really insisted Mew to ride with him.
Mew is starting to avoid Gulf after he realized his feelings. Yes, he has a crush— no he fell for him. He know for himself that he has a crush on Gulf before and Gulf doesn't know that, he guess. He doesn't want to destroy the bond and relationship they had just because of his stupid feelings for him.
And ofcourse he's not stupid to know that no can control the wat they called 'love'. Once you felt that, there is no way you can get out. Well, you can but it's a hard process.
Mew just sigh helplessly. He loves him, his best friend. Gulf know he's gay and he's happy that his best friend didn't judge him for that and accepted him for who he is. But telling him his feelings? That's a no no.
Mew is okay with this, he's okay if they're just best friends, and it will remain like that. Telling his feelings is a big risk. Because there is really no way that Gulf would like him back. Gulf is a straight guy.
"Mew," he heard Gulf called him. He looked at him. "Are you okay? Did that Grey bother you again?," He asked, gritting his teeth. Sometimes Mew would thought that Gulf feels something for him too but no.
"No. Why?," He asked.
"Why? Because we're best friend. Tell me if he bother you again. He'll see hell," Mew smile sadly. "Okay?," He just nod at him and looked outside the window again. 'We're just best friends yet, you're saying those like a possessive boyfriend'
His words makes him flutter, as always. Especially when Gulf is being like this. It feels like, somehow he has feelings for him. But he wants to smack him for saying those words too. It's just making him fall for him and he know too well that Gulf won't reciprocate the feelings back. Maybe this is what they called one sided love.
"By the way, you think Eunice would come to our classroom later?," Gulf asked again. He looked at him and their is this happy and excited expression on his face. He looks like a lovesick fool.
Mew wants to cry just to reduce the pain in his heart. When will you look at me lovingly the way you look at Eunice? Mew's thought. But he shrugged it away. He's clearly aware it wouldn't happen.
"I-I don't know. Maybe?," Mew reluctantly said.
Gulf sigh with a happy expression. "I really hope that she likes me too." Mew just looked at him without any emotions in his face. But deep inside, he's dying. His heart is breaking into tiny pieces. If he just had an option whether to love Gulf or not, he would probably choose no. He never thought loving him would be this painful.
He might choose to fall on the highest cliff in the world than loving him.
"How about you Mew?,"
"Hmm?,"
