Emma's POV

It's been two weeks since MAGCON. I really haven't been eating and I'm not happy; at all.

This boy, I met once, hung out with twice and know very little about; had the biggest impact on my life that I could possibly explain.

"Em? Someone is here," My mother's soft voice spoke through my door, causing me to close my laptop and slowly stand up.

"You might want to freshen up before you come down," What is that supposed to mean? I only grunted in a response and wandered into my closet, tearing off my spandex and putting on sweatpants and a blue v-neck.

I opened my bathroom door and examined myself in my mirror. My eyes were sunken in, my hair was frizzed out on the sides and my cheeks were a pale pink. I brushed through my hair and put in a neat bun on top of my head and applied blush to add color to my cheeks.

When I wandered down the stairs, I heard a deep, breathtaking voice.

"She isn't doing very well," I heard my mom say.

"I haven't either," The voice said.

"Here she is," My mom saw me peeking around the corridor and she directed me to sit next to her. When I saw who she was talking to, I nearly fainted.

"What are you doing here?" It came out rude.

"Jen told me how bad you were doing and I knew I had to see you," I huffed and sat back on the couch, watching Cameron's eyes look into mine.

"I'll leave you two, to it," My mom patted her knees and stood up, leaving a trail of her sweet perfume behind her.

"What exactly did Jen tell you?" I questioned Cameron.

"She said that you weren't eating and hadn't walked out of your house in days. Trust me, I know how you feel because I've been doing the same," When he said that my eyes widened.

"You're sad too?" He nodded.

"I've known you for what, three days and you had such an effect on me. Cameron, I'm sorry," I sat next to him on the other couch and he gently sat his hand on my thigh.

"It's my fault, don't say sorry. Let's go do something," He instructed me and squeezed my thigh.

"Okay," I led him up the stairs and to my room.

"Don't peak," I told him and grabbed clothes.

"No promises," He chuckled and spun around. I threw on black short shorts and a dark blue bandeau. I instructed Cameron that I was done, and he could come in the bath room with me while I did my makeup and hair.

"You don't need makeup," Cameron told me.

"That's what you think," I rolled my eyes and did my mascara and eyeliner before putting on foundation.

"Seriously, you're beautiful," He touched my arm and I shivered, his touch was like a fire bursting through my body, tearing apart my insides.

I took my hair down from my bun and let it lay straight down my back.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Ready," I told him and took his hand in mine.
