Chapter 5

Charlies POV

After the breakup with Ben I was really sad like really sad. I think that I have never been so sad in my whole life. But luckily I have a best friend like Y/n. She is really the best. It meant a lot to me that she was here for me. The next day my alarm went off. We both woke up. Y/n was sleeping at my house because of the breakup. We brushed our teeth and put our uniforms on. The new school uniforms should arrive next week so until next week we have to wear our old school uniforms.

After a couple of minutes we went upstairs. We have breakfast with my whole family. It was kinda awkward because they knew that something was wrong. I mean after school I ran up without saying anything and then I didn't even came out of my bedroom. And even Y/n was the whole night with me not coming out of my room. I wasn't ready to tell them anything so I just ignored everything around me. I avoided eye contact with my family. I just went into the kitchen and eat my favourite cereals. I wanted to eat fast so that we can go to the bus station. After a couple of minutes Y/n and I went to the door. Y/n said: " Bye!" And then we went to the bus station

Y/n: Sooooo are you alright?

Charlie:
Yeah why wouldn't I be okay? Why do you ask?

Y/n:
You have been avoiding eye contact the whole time and you didn't even said a word until we left your house.

Charlie:
I am not ready to tell my family about the whole Ben thing and besides they know that something happened but they don't want to ask me because they know that I am not ready to tell them. Can I ask you something important?

Y/n:
Yeah go ahead

Charlie:
If they ask you what happened can you just tell them that you don't know what happened you just saw me crying and you wanted to see if I am okay.

Y/n:
Yeah of course Charlie if you want me to do that

Charlie:
Thank you
You know that I love you right

Y/n:
Yeah and you know that I love you more

And then we hugged. I was really lucky for having her as my best friend! We finally arrived at the school. Today was the day! I was finally showing Y/n around. Luckily we had the same classes. The school has done that on purpose. I was having school and showing Y/n around. And we were even in the same class as Nick Nelson. Sadly I was sitting right next to Nick and not Y/n but she was sitting right next to our table. I saw her starring at Nick the whole time. I turned to her and she saw that I saw her starring at him and then she turned red. Wow she blushed! She put her finger on her mouth and said "Shhh". I laughed and turned to Nick. Finally he said something

Nick:
Hi

Charlie:
Hi

Nick:
What are you laughing about?

Shit what was I supposed to say? My best friend is starring at you the whole time and I saw her doing that and she also blushed!

Charlie:
Ohh nothing just thinking about some funny things.

The next days I was always running into Nick and the only thing that we always said was "Hi" "Hi". Once I ran into him and he drew a smiley on my hand. Wow he was really cute and hot. Shit am I falling in love with the same boy as my best friend? I had to ignore the feelings for him because of Y/n. In the past days I also became a lots of texts from Ben but I ignored them. And one day Nick came to me and asked

Nick:
You don't have any tissues do you? My pen .....er ....exploded

He said with a smile on his cute face. Wow did I just really said cute face? I am falling for him like really bad.

Charlie:
Ah, no sorry

Teacher:
Oh dear Nick, you'd better go clean up in the bathroom. Charlie, can you go with Nick and open the doors for him?

I saw Y/n looking at both of us. I went with Nick to help him and we arrived to the bathroom.

Nick:
Sorry about this...

Charlie:
It's fine
Hopefully I'll miss some of first period...
I have double since

Nick:
Ugh! Who'd you have?

Charlie:
Mister Hutchins

Nick:
Oh my god, I had him last year! He smells so bad of cat food

Charlie:
He REALLY does!

We talked a little bit more. I asked him questions like how his pen exploded and he explained me everything. God was he cute. A few hours later I had P.E. with Y/n. We were running. I was the fastest like always and my P.E. teacher always said the same thing " No one's beaten Charlie's time up!" I saw Nick starring at me. He played Rugby. Later he asked me if I wanted to join the Rugby team. First I didn't wanted to but I changed my mind so I said yes. We spent a lot of time together. He learned me how to play Rugby. I already fell for him but I haven't told anyone because Y/n likes him too. Suddenly I became a Text from Ben

Ben:
So you are in the Rugby team now? Can we please meet up after the training? I really want to talk to you. Meet me in the music block?

Charlie:
Okay fine!

I said bye to Nick and then I went to the music block.

Nick's POV

After the training we went to the chainging room. We changed into our school uniform. Suddenly Charlie got a text. He was kinda upset. He said Bye and left. I went after him to check if he was okay but he went to the music Block. WEIRD.

Charlie's POV

I went inside and looked for Ben. I saw him and went to him. First he talked some shit but then he pulled me to the wall and started to kiss me. I said "STOP!" but he didn't stopped. Suddenly someone grabbed Ben and pulled him away from me. It was Nick! Nick started to shout at Ben but I didn't listened to them because I was just thinking about what happened right now. After Ben left I said "Thanks!" We were talking on the way out and then I went to the bus station. Iwas So happy. I drived home with the bus. I wanted to talk to Y/n so bad.
