Chapter Three: Paperwork

After you had all finished eating Papa Nihil started back up the conversation. "so seestor Y/N what brings you to work here hmm?" he asked. "I don't know really Nihil. Iv always worshiped our Lord and saviour so I thought why not include him in my work?" you replied. "hmm good answer seestor!" said Nihil. "Actually seestor I know you have just gotten here today but I do need to explain to you what kind of work you will be doing around this place."

"oh yes of course what will I actually be doing here Papa?" you asked Nihil. "well we all have personal assistants and my dear son Secondo here doesn't have one yet so I thought it would be fitting for you to file his papers for him and do what ever else that he would need doing? Would that be ok seestor Y/N?" asked Nihil. You looked over to Secondo who was staring at you intently like you were a piece of meat. You swallowed hard before turning back to Papa Nihil." of..of course that would be fine Papa Nihil it would give us time to get to know each other better right Secondo? " you managed to stutter out looking over to him once more.

He was still staring at you with the same expression. He didn't say anything in response but, just continued to stare. 'well this is going to be just great' you thought to yourself sarcastically. "sorry seestor he's not the most social person of all of us" he awkwardly laughed. "well I'm going back to my room have a good rest of your evenings everyone! Oh and seestor Y/N it was lovely to meet you, you will fit right in here. I can feel it." said Nihil. You all said your goodbyes to him and got up to go back to your room when Secondo grabbed you by your arm, his grip was tight but not too tight to hurt you.

"come Sister Y/N I have some paperwork that I need you to file for me.." he said in a low tone. 'I can't tell if he is always like this or if he actually just hates me..' you thought to yourself. "of course Secondo lead the way" you said in a cheerful tone trying to lighten the mood although you were slightly nervous. He started to lead you to his office, still holding the tight grip on your wrist. His office was down the papal corridor next to his room, you knew you weren't supposed to go down there but you just assumed you had permission because he practically dragged you inside.

He sat you down at his desk and dumped a large sized pile of paperwork in front of you. "now Y/N I need you to colour code these for me and then put them into these" he said pointing to some filing cabinets. For some reason he seemed to be a little but comfier around you than he was earlier was it because he didn't have his brothers bugging him? "I'm on it Secondo" you said quickly getting to work.

You used yellow for taxes, blue for bills and red for anything else. He watched over you like a hawk for a good minute or two before opening his mouth to speak to you again. "I'm going to take a shower sister will you be ok on your own?" said papa. "yes of course don't worry about me!" you said in your usual sweet tone. "good.. good.. I expect you to have these done when I get back." he said in a gruff tone and walked away to what you presumed was the bathroom down the hall.

You got to work straight away and after what felt like an eternity, you had finished your little job! But, Papa was no where to be seen? So, you just decided to leave him a little note that read:

[ Secondo,

I have finished my work so I decided to leave you this note and go back to my room. You know where I am if you need anything at all!

After leaving the note on his desk where you knew he would find it, you scurried back to your room.
