The Doctor explained everything, EVERYTHING from the beginning.
"My name is the Doctor. I am the last of my species, Time Lords from Gallifrey. I fought in the great Time War. I stole a Tardis and ran away. I....I had to destroy my planet to stop the war." Tears welled up in his eyes but he soon wiped them away and took a deep breath.
"Weeping angels. Also known as the lonely assassins. They're as old as the universe and have survived this long because they posses a natural and unique defense mechanism and are quantum locked. Which means they can only move when no other living creature, including their own kind, is looking at them. As soon as they are observed they instantly turn to stone. And you can't kill a stone. Of coarse a stone can't kill you either. But then you turn your head away. And then you blink. And yes it can. They kill you in the nicest way by sending you back in time to waste your life away. " He explained really fast.
Ana was sitting down and listening to the doctor, fascinated by his words.
"So, what your telling me is, that I got killed by a weeping angel?" She questioned.
"Well in the future yes." The Doctor replied.
"So I'm dead....I'm dead in the future?" Ana's voice started cracking.
"Unless you go back. I have a time machine you know." Ge gestured towards his console.
"But I.....I want to stay....I want to stay here with you. You're an amazing madman and I love adventure.....It....its got to be fate." Ana wiped her tears away.
"You want to be my next companion?" The Doctor asked to make sure he wasn't hearing things.
Ana nodded.
"Well simply tell your parents you want to travel." He said so casually that it didn't seem like he cared.
"R-really?" Ana looked up hopeful.
"Sure!"
"Oh thank you thank you thank you thank you!" Ana said running up to the Doctor and hugging him.
"It's no problem. Anything for my......companion." They laughed.
"Off we go!" The Doctor said. "Where were you when you saw the angel?"
"18850 Foxtra Road. London." Ana replied.
"Ah London! I do so love London! ALLONS-Y!" He pulled a lever and they were off.

"Hey Kat." Ana said as she opened the door and saw Kat on the couch on her laptop.
"What's up?" She casually said.
"I just wanted to tell you that I'm going home. Um, I was thinking outside and, I've decided I wanted to travel and, I need to pack up." Ana lied.
"Really?! That's so cool! Kinda suspicious on such short notice....but so cool!" Kat got up and jumped around.
"Make sure to call me whenever you can. okay?" She pursuaded.
Ana nodded as she gave Kat one last hug and headed outside where she confronted the doctor.
"One down one to go." He greeted.

"Mom. Dad. Can we....can we talk?" Ana said as her parents walked in the living room with hot cups of coffee.
"Sure hon what's the matter?" Her dad said.
"I.....I want to travel. I have a car and enough money to support myself....and I promise to call whenever I can." Ana lied.
Her Dad raised an eyebrow while her mom put the cups of her hand over her mouth.
"Are you sure, Ana? I mean....why all this so sudden?" Her dad asked
"It just seemed interesting that's all. Friday is testing day and I could drop out after tests. What do you think mom?" She looked at her mom who was frozen and staring into her coffee.
"She's almost an adult honey, she needs to make her own decisions." Her dad said, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Her mom sighed. "Okay." She sobbed. "You can leave Monday."
"Oh thank you so much trust me you won't regret this decision!" Ana hugged her parents and walked towards the front door and looked out the window.
She gave a thumbs up and mouthed Monday. The Doctor nodded and headed to his Tardis.
Ana headed up to her room and pulled out a suitcase from her closet. After she finished packing, she laid on her bed and sighed.
The days passed quickly.
Tuesday.
Wednesday
Thursday.
Testing day.
Ana was really stressed about the test but knew that she would ace it.
Which she did.
(A/N I know they don't give you the results right after you take the test and that it takes a few days in high school but it's a story lets just move on lol)
The day she got the results she was so nervous. If she didn't pass, she knew her parents would hold her until she passed. Which meant no Doctor.
She slowly opened the paper and skimmed it. When she looked at the bottom it said:
Passed. 87% correct
Ana gave a loud hoot that was heard throughout the neighborhood.
Doctor here I come! She thought.
