What if the story you've always imagined was about to come true?
Just now, I got to talk to him.
Well, he actually came and talked to me.
Well, no, his friends came to me and he was with them. Basically, I am in their club, he's not. So I know his friends and that's how I got to know him, we are in the theater club of our university. I'm younger than him and his friends, but they're kind.
It was a little weird, I wouldn't dare look at him, in case our eyes crossed. But still his gaze thoDear Diary, P'Off will be mine, or else!
The young university student shut his diary, attached his pen to it, and left from his hidden spot by the end of the Art Campus, not far from the parking lot. He had sat in the old music kiosque to write a new page of his diary.
Quite old school, he says it himself, but he likes the vibe holding a diary has. The secrecy, and being able to not hold everything, mostly because he tends to overthink everything.
"N'Gun!" someone shouted from afar. Gun turned back.
"P'Tay!" He answered, confirming the older made no mistake. They met halfway. "What is going on? Why the hurry?"
"I just saw the auditions got rescheduled for the new project, it's tomorrow starting 7AM." Tay said trying to catch some fresh air.
"What!? My god, thank you phi! I would have missed them if not for you..." the younger said, faking a sob, that made Tay laugh. "More seriously, why did they reschedule?"
Tay, having a really hard time breathing correctly from all the run, walked backward a little to sit down. Gun remembered his water bottle in his bag. He reached it and handed it to his phi, who thanked his junior, even tho surprised by the gesture.
"So, yeah, this new timeline." Tay then observed Gun sit beside him, and continued. "Apparently, some people in the soundcheck need the room for when we originally had it reserved. And with that fucking priority thing they won last semester, we had to give them our time slot."
Gun stared at his Phi in disbelief. He would almost throw his pen at the student council of the art faculty for their goddamn idea of priority system! Both students started badmouthing the adverse faculty, no remorse around. But they got startled when someone suddenly put an hand on a shoulder of each two. Gun turned and froze while Tay threw a fist at his best friend.
"How can you just come behind like that asshole! You'll scare my junior!" Tay screamed as the newcomer avoided the punches.
"P'Off..." Gun simply said, his cheeks already turning red, blushing from the sudden proximity.
"And I thought you couldn't stand skinship dumbass!" Tay kept on shouting at Off.
Off, on the contrary, kept on laughing, proud of scaring the shit out of his friend. Then followed a short runaway between the two older ones, after which they fell on the made-wall used-bench Gun was still sitting on.
"So, you guys hate sound tech that much uh?" Off asked, observing the two acting students on his right, first Tay then Gun.
"Well, basically, it's a taken for granted feeling between our faculties." Tay said, he then tried to explain how they don't originally hate each other but keep on fighting and always end up trying to mess up the other party.
"But..." Gun started, as shy as one can be, even worse when both his phi turned towards him.
"I don't hate them. I sure hate they have this priority weird new setup but they are not individually bad, right?" he tried to develop his point of view, even if he had a hard time articulating every word as he could almost feel Off's eyes observing him.
