Ironhides sparkling [Wattys 2017]

The battle

I could see a flare several miles away. "There dad. That's where they are." I say.

"I see them." Dad grunts driving faster. Suddenly blasts rock dad's alright mode

and my head slams against dad's window. "Breeze!" "I'm ok dad!" I say gripping his steering wheel tightly.

"Hang on!" Dad shouts jerking to the right to avoid a blast. "Dad!" I scream as the chip lands infront of us.

Dad transforms as I go flying. I scream as I fly towards the ground. Dad doesn't catch me.

I hit the ground and groan in pain. "Breeze!" Dad yells fighting with starscream. "Dad I'm alright!" I lye.

I force myself up and start running. Starscream takes off and dad joins my side picking me up.

He holds me close and nuzzles me gently while still running. Dad slides down a sand dune and starts running again.

About a mile out dad hides behind some collums. The sets me down and kneels down.

"Breeze I want you to promise me. You'll be safe." Dad says. I gently rub his cheek.

"Dad. I can't promise anything right now." I say. Dad sighs meeting my eyes.

He nods and gently strokes my hair. I kiss his face plates before a blast sends him flying. "Dad!" I scream.

"Breeze run!" Dad shouts. I take off running and spot Sam and kala. I join their sides.

Something then flies over our heads. It lands a good distance away and crashes. "Shit." I curse.

"Go!" I say pushing my brother and kala. We run faster as gun fire fills the air. My chest burned but I couldn't stop.

We duck into a shed and close the door. "Once it's clear we run for optimus as fast as we can." Sam says.

I nod and hug Sam. Sam hugs me tightly before turning to kala. He hugs her as well. Sam finds a sword and makes a hole in the wall.

I peek through and flinch seeing the con. Suddenly a small fly comes through. Sam grabs it and takes its head off.

Seconds later the roof is ripped off. We all scream and take off running. We jump down and start running.

Glass atone and sand rip into my skin making me yelp. We run faster. I didn't think the soldiers knew we were here.

We run through some pillars and I gasp seeing Ron and Judy under the cannon of a con. "Mom/Judy Dad/Ron" Me and Sam scream.

"Wait wait!" I scream. "I want you to run! Run!" Ron screams. "Just stop. They don't want you. They want us!" I say.

I take out the sand and show it to the can. "This is what you want. You don't want them." Ron and July scream for us to run.

I hear a whistle and see bumblebee. "Just don't hurt the,." Sam says. "Bumbles!" I scream. Bumblebee attacks and battles the con.

Sam and I run to July. They beg for us to come with but I refuse and start running. I could see the twins. "Sam. Breeze!" They shout.

"Follow us to the pullers. Well take you to optimus." Arrece says. "Watch out!" I yell pushing her out of the way of a would be fatal shot.

"Thanks. Let's go!" She says. We take off running as blood soaks my shirt. I wince in agony but keep running.

We run to a set of pillars. I hear a familer growl and turn my head to see megatron. His eyes widen at the blood that powered down my face.

I suspected he could feel my pain through the bond. His eyes seem to soften but harden as I run faster.

Behind us explosions and fire light up the ground and time seems to move in slow motion. Will and epps run towards us.

"You better have a good reason for us to be here sparky." Will says making me grin. "Where's optimus?" I ask.

"He's right over there across the courtyard." Will says. "I gotta get to him right now!" I say. "No we got a air strike coming." Will say.

"I have to get to him right now!" I yell. A con appears and will pushes us back. The Jetfire appears and saves our buts.

"We make a break for the b zone. You guys stick with me. You understand." Will says. "I hope these f16 git good aim.

I told em to aim for the orange smoke." Epps says. I turn and see orange smoke. "That orange smoke?" Will asks.

"Epps I'm gonna kill you!" I roar before we all start running. Me and Sam break away just as starscream appears.

He shoots us as time slows down. I could hear three screams as I go flying. Dad's. Uncle ratchets and lastly Megatron's.

Then I hit the ground and everything goes black.
