Marionette's POV

"Watch your step, Darling.." My Father said when we kept walking through the dark hallway.

I may have tripped 7 times in the stairs, but good thing Father was there. We continued our way until a door with a red light on top of it. I looked at Father and he smiled. Walking right passed me, he pressed his had to a pad sensor that was next to the door. Then a green light scanned his hand and beeped to confirm the entrance. The door slightly pushed forward and a light was shown.

"Watch the eyes." He said.

I carefully squinted my eyes while walking through the door and my eyes widen to the sight. Rails covered around a big giant hole and you can see passage ways going down. ( Kind of like District 13 from The Hunger Games : The Mocking Jay , Part 1 ) Next to me were doors... A lot of doors. When I waked up the rail to look down, it looked like a never - lasting fall of darkness. For a huge place, it was empty. I expected Vampires trying to suck my blood and kill me, but nope.

"Come..." Father said and led me to the right from the door, to a hallway.

"This is The Coven. Here, all Vampires live. The nice ones, at least..." He chuckled and I smiled. He led me to another hallway, but at the end there was a steal door. He put his hand on the pad sensor and scanned him once again. The door opened and we walk in to see like a lab.

"So... You work in a lab?" I said.

"I am head master of The Coven. I rule everyone here, I'm like a King."

"King?" I smirk.

"Yes, which that makes you a pretend princess."

"A princess..." I whispered to myself.

He walked passed me and opened a door revealing a hospital bed and different medical objects. I slowly walked in and stood next to the bed.

"What is this?" I said as I looked around.

"This is a 'Transformation Room'." Father said.

He turned around to look at something in the cabinets, while I looked down at the bed. Imagine millions Vampires transformed in this simple bed...

"Do I have to lay down for this?" I said, looking up to Father.

He turned to me and nodded his head.

"For the Transformation, Yes."

"Right now? In this room?" I asked.

"No, not this room. To simple... We need something elegant for the princess..." He chuckled and got some materials.

I smiled and nodded.

"Come on, Darling" He said walking out.

I gave one last glimpse towards the room and walked out. Father closed the door and walked towards where we entered again. We walked back up the dark stairs , this time I didn't trip. We arrived towards the door and got out, relieved in seeing the stained bed.

"Where are we going now?" I asked.

"Home.." He said.

We walked the same path we did earlier. I was happy to see my home, but I would miss the dead leaves. I remembered I had my heels in my hand this whole hand. When I stepped on the pavement, I quickly put my heels on while Father waited. I walked in shortly after and he followed.

"We will have the transformation in the basement, it'll be easier for you" Father said.

He slowly walked towards the door I was always forbidden to go when I was young. He opened the door and the trail of stairs downwards didn't surprise me. He walked in first and then I did. I widen my eyes to come to view with candles lit every corner of the room. There was like a sheet placed in the middle and a table with a small bowl and a knife next to it.I didn't feel secure after I watched there. I took my attention away from it and I looked around carefully until something caught my attention. A hanging curtain covering a drawing in the wall, with beautiful white roses and little red candles.

"Here... Lay down on the sheet, Darling." He said. He took his suit off and let his white long sleeve.

I got off from the last step and walked to the sheet in the floor. I took my heels of and slowly placed them next to me. I carefully lied down and looked up.

"I thought you said I needed a more elegant place for he transformation?" I asked.

He laughed and gave me the 'for real' eye glance. I smirked and looked up the basement ceiling. Father grabbed the knife from the table and walked towards me. My smirked faded and turned nervous.

"Now, Marionette... It will be just a simple transformation. Just relax and think happy, alright?" Father said and gave me smile. Fake one... like always, I thought. I slowly inhaled and exhaled, trying to calm myself down. Father rolled up his long sleeve, holding his hand up and held the knife above it. He slowly slit the knife to his paw and placed the bloody knife in the table. What shocked the most was to see he showed no action of pain. He quickly grabbed the bowl, but to notice it wasn't a bowl, it was frontal lobe skull... a human frontal lobe skull. He slowly made his hand into a fist and let the blood pour into the skull, like wine poured into a cup. He then opened his hand and the cut was gone. He lifted the skull in front of him and said,

"I, Anuar Blood, give my blood in vain, not blessed by God, nor his Son... but blessed by the King Of All Sins, to my daughter, Marionette Blood... who she will carry the next generation of Bloods. If she marry, she will not take thrown and will not succeed... If I, take mate... and comes out man, he will keep the generation and succeed. I blessed this blood by vain from me, and the King Of All Sins... who he/she drinks, will take the life of all..." he slowly lowered down and reached for me.

"Take this blood, or refuse to your own destiny..." He placed the skull in my hands and looked at me.

I grabbed the skull tightly and brought to my mouth.

"Drink... Drink..." He said, anxiously.

I looked at red substance and before I knew it, I felt the burn down my throat. I fell back to the ground and my body trembled. I felt all of sudden everything in slow motion, but the last thing I heard was...

"Whatever happens Marionette... You were born to kill..."
