**Throws Dark cacao and caramel arrow cookie father-daughter angst in your face**
Oops

He opened the solid door, inside was a figure laying down on a soft mattress, with dark colored covers thrown above the figure. Dark cacao stepped towards the figure and looks at it.

He was recently informed of Caramel's Passing, only just a mere  hour  ago, he felt.. Guilty for not being by her side when she passed away, though to him she wouldn't have minded anyway, knowing how much care hes shown for her all these years  shes served him.

He looks at her lifeless body. She was old, and he knew her time was coming but even in those last few moments she had with him that same bright passion of hers lived on. He held her frail hand in his arm. His  dark looming shadow over her dead body.

Dark cacao thinks back on all of the times hes spent with her, exiling her, her returning only to aid to him and she witnessed the kingdom being restored to its former glory. Never ever in his life has he felt his  immortality was a curse. He only wishes that he could rest beside her.

Because, She was one of the few cookies hes bonded with seeing her and watching her grow, he didnt admit out loud but he grew attached to her in a way. Like a father watching his daughter grow only to out live her.

And despite all the hardships she faced while serving him she remained loyal to him and he couldn't understand why?. Millions of thoughts raced in his head as he looked down on the lifeless body of once his  first watcher. A true role model for all of the watchers.

He couldn't help but even for a moment shed a tear. Hes seen many deaths of his warriors before but none like hers has hurt this much, but even in death,

He felt her spirt present, like all of the warriors before him. Leaving her to rest he exited the room and let the castle staff do the rest.

A few days later it was her funeral, it was snowing,  the aura of the castle was solemn. And dark, everyone was sadden by the death of Caramel, Dark cacao ordered her name be inscribed  in the altar of the fallen in his mind shes done more than enough to merely have her name inscribed on there.

He cant seem to admit it but he hates that this was the end of her life, she was gone just like that after years of being by his side. He'll miss her, he'll miss seeing her smile at him on the wall greeting him each and every morning with  great passion.

He'll miss her company.

And so  the days drifted into weeks, months and then years.

Cacao was walking around the snowy kingdom uptop the great chocolate wall, as he paused for a moment. He looks over and sees young new watchers doing their jobs he cant help but smile. They were of course not as experienced but he admires their hard  work.

That next day he observes the watchers again but this time he sees that they have improved significantly, even if its just a little bit it was quite obvious.. why and how did they get that good over one night?.

He was curious and asked one of the watchers "How did you.. learn all of this?"
The watcher merely smiled and said, "The spirit of the previous first watcher taught us, a few tips her spirit lives on and  from what shes told us, shes still keeping watch over the wall."

He was in.. well shock! "You mean.. Caramel Arrow's spirit is still.. here?" He says and that very moment he felt a ghastly hand on his shoulder and a faint gust of wind "Yes my lord.. Oh! That was her!" The young watcher smiled.

He couldn't help but.. smile too almost shedding a tear but he never did.. Hes just happy knowing that even in death she keeps a close eye on the kingdom.

And as decades flew by, she was known throughout the kingdom as a warrior, a loyal, and kind selfless Woman. Tales and songs of her spirit sending good luck to all of the watchers who cross her path on the wall and the great luck and blessings in her weapon the twin blades whom  who ever became first watcher after her held.

He  smiled a bit seeing how much even in death shes contributed towards the kingdoms prosperity. Even if he cant tell her now, he was proud of her.

Prouder than he was before of her.
