Barracuda stood, floor creaking below her. She was taller than Blix, Her coat was equally as long, almost falling to her ankles; It had a triangle pattern on the back. She herself had subtle smooth scales, and a reptilian tail. She was menacing; and served as the only balancing force against Blix's less well-thought-out -actions. A Second thought; as a person.
"Blix." She said.
"Yes?" Xe replied.
"What did you do?" They both fell silent.
"We have a Hero, THE  Hero, in our possession."  He says.
"I'm almost impressed." Barracuda says.
"But. you wanted to lay low. This isn't laying low. You stole the biggest asset the enemy has. This is about control, correct?"
"Correct." Blix's head dips down.
"How does this play in?" Barracuda taps her foot.
"We keep the most useful tool out of their grasp; And we can use it instead." Blix chuckles a bit.

"And I know you love kicking Cyan around just as much as I do."

Cyan awakes too white hot pain running through their head like a nail. Their ears ring and they try to cover their face but end up pulling on bounds, but try anyway.
So they pull.
And pull.
The chains binding their wrists slide together...
And pop loose!
They free their hands, rubbing their sore wrists and cracked head gingerly. Turns out they were right and they actually did have half of their face missing; but that was a different issue worth addressing later.
They got up carefully, fighting back horrid pain from their injury.
Okay. They had to act fast. They couldn't do much in this form; merely float and whimper. But they could pick up a knife.
And that's all they needed.
They struggle to their feet, put back on their boots which were in the corner, and briskly search the various boxes in the room.
Food... Not what they needed.
As soon as they were giving up and about to settle for just using their fists, they carefully pick up a sharp dagger from inside a box. It was clearly as corrupted as everything else in the room, and it burned when they held it; but it was a weapon. And it would do. They exit the room, and are met with a long spiral staircase that hopefully wasn't as long as it looked; Cyan didn't know how high up in the tower they were. They start descending down the staircase as they hear the door from the room above open. They were lucky that they were on the petite side; as the stairs barely creaked at all as they started rushing downwards out of panic.

Cube walks in circles at the docks. They wear a sweater, short jacket, and pleated skirt with long boots.
"Heli.. I'm so worried... Cyan's been gone for 2 days now. I've asked everyone where they are and nobody knows...Did something happen at the meeting?? Are they hurt?" They play with their hair nervously.
"I.. Don' t know and I'm not sure if I can tell you; Let alone look myself." The two glance at the corrupted land nearby on the opposite coast.
"You can ask Solario; but I doubt I'll be of any help to you." Heli mumbles.

"I just hope they're safe..." Says Cube, worried.
