*8:19am Middle School Japan* Y/N POV
Last day of middle school huh? Then what am I gonna do after this?
Oh yeah I should introduce myself.
My name is Y/N Sullivan, I'm 16, I'm half American half Japanese. I moved here 2 years ago from California.
"Hey Sullivan!" Someone called to me.
It's of my friends that I never expected to make when I first came to this school. Nirengeki Shoda.
I don't know if I said his first name first or his surname first.
Japan's nationalism confuses me with the introduction of names. And actually both of names sound like a surname.
So I just stick with
"Oh hey Shoda!" I greet him.
"So, are excited to leave this school today." He asks me.
"Hmm... I guess so." I tell him, not really sure why I need to be excited to leave a school for ever like back in California.
"You want to hang out later, with the others? Since it's out last day here." Shoda asks me excited.
"I don't mind hanging out with you later." I reply.
"Then 4pm sound good to you?" Shoda asks me.
"I have time."
We see two of our classmates coming towards us. Reiko Yanagi and Yui Kodai. A silver haired girl with blue one of the covered by her hair and a black Bob cut one with with cerulean eyes.
"Hey you two." Shoda starts. He's the most lively and talkative out of us.
Yanagi and Kodai nod at us as greeting and I lift up two fingers to salute. "Yo."
"What were two talking about earlier?" Yanagi asks us.
"Shoda just asked me out on a date." I say jokingly.
"Kidding, he suggested we hang out later after school since today is our last day of school, before we all something else." I say.
"So are you two on?" Shoda asks.
Kodai nods in agreement.
"How about we go watch that new Horror movie?" Yanagi suggests.
"No problems with that." I say.
Kodai... nods again.
"Sounds great. Let's meet up at 4pm at Kiyashi Shopping Ward." Shoda says.
"Kodai you should really start talking more." I say to her.
"I try... But words are hard." She whispers.
I pat her on the head like I always did with my little sister. "It comes over time. Don't be hard on yourself."
We separate in the classroom to out seats.
Our homeroom teacher came in the classroom and we did the stand bow sit thing.
"Today kids, is your last day as 3rd years before we leave you to your future. I know you all want to be Heroes." Our teacher says.
Hero that word disgusts me. They fight crimes and all that. They bask themselves in the praise of the crowd as if they are gods.
