Lieke let out a tired sigh went she get out from her car. The stars decorated the dark blue sky while a soft breeze ran. It's was late, Lieke had gone to dinner at Ana's apartment with Caro, Marta and Frido. She began to walk towards her building, grabbing her keys from the bag. She stop momentarily because she didn't find the keys, but a noise near of her make her frown. Lieke raised her head frowning, looking in the direction it came from.
It came from a greengrocer, which was near the building where she lived. The person had their back towards her. Lieke tense up and more when she noticed that the person was hitting someone. The dutch swallowed hard and decided go to where they are. Walking slowly and squeezing the handle of her backpack, her blood freeze when she noticed the other person. Changing her steps for faster ones, she let her gym bag in the ground and grab the guy for his shoulders, pushing him to the ground aggressively. When she looked at him she saw something that make her angry and feel repulsion and went to punch him. Lieke let out her angry with every punch on her face, blood flowing for his nose and mouth.
The guy managed to escape when she stops, she looked at him and let him run away. Lieke turned to the girl, a sad look installed on her face when she saw how the girl looks. She walked to her, seeing blood ran for her face, it made Lieke panic.
"Hey... You are safe now. I'm here." Lieke whispered, grabbing her hand carefully. The brunette notice how she tensed up, something normal in that situation.
The girl looked at her with teary eyes, breaking Lieke's heart. The girl let Lieke grab her hands.
"Come on, I accompanied you to the hospital." Lieke said, but the girl shook her head, scared.
"N-No... P-Please, not t-to the hospital." She begged. Lieke looks at her apprehensively rubbing her knuckles softly.
"Okay. Not to the hospital. But you will came to my apartment, come on." Lieke states standing up, offering a hand. The girl looks with fear, but she slowly put her hand on Lieke's. She frown when she saw how the brunette's knuckles were. She stood up, wiping with her hand her tears, making her let out a whimper. "Easy there." Lieke muttered.
The brunette started walk towards her building with the girl in a hand and grabbing her gym back with other.

Lieke sat the girl on her sofa. Grabbing her furry friend for the collar, the dog approached them excited.
"Wait here. I'm taking this one to a walk. Feel like in your home, I won't be long." Lieke said.
