Troy's POV:

My hands went cold and my heart stopped for a second hearing that man's voice.

Mason.

"Oh it's been a long time since I spoke to you boy. How are you?", He asked cheerfully.

Anger filled my body.

"Better now that I'm not with a backstabbing son of a bitch", I said without hesitation.

I heard laughing. He was enjoying this.

That's when it struck me..how did he get my number? Dad made us all change numbers after we arrived in LA.

But then again he called from George's phone because his number flashed here.

"What are you doing with George's phone?", I asked.

He chuckled before answering.

"Oh it was the easiest way to contact you so your best buddy here is paying me a visit", Mason said smugly.

For some reason dread filled my heart immediately. I don't know why, but I didn't have a good feeling about this.

"What? Where is he?", I asked carefully.

"Oh right here. You wanna talk to him? Just a second", Mason replied.

I heard some shuffling and my heart was pounding while my breathing were laboured.

Then I heard him..

"T-Troy?", George sniffed in the most vulnerable voice.

My heart sank.

"George! Are you okay!", I almost yelled in worry.

"T-T-Troy! Please help me! Please! I don't like it here! He's not nice! Please!", George cried profusely over the phone.

My eyes filled with tears. I looked around in my room and started pacing here and there freaking out.

"Where are you buddy? I'll come!", I said seriously.

"N-No you can't! H-He wants you! But- ", He sniffed and spoke weakly, but suddenly he was cut off.

"Tsk tsk tsk. I didn't tell you my plan just so you can reveal it to your friend now", Mason spoke mockingly.

"GO TO HELL!", I heard George yell angrily.

Then I heard one loud smack and his cries following it.

I gasped hearing that. My heart broke.

"No! Stop! Don't hurt him! Mason please! I beg you! Leave my friend alone! Please!", I started begging as tears fell down my eyes.

George..I'm so sorry.

"Oh Troy? Begging? Really? As much as I enjoy it, what you do think your father will think about this? A man of honour", Mason snickered.

I didn't care of I was looking like a stupid weak boy. I didn't care if I was stroking his ego.

I just wanted my buddy to be okay.

"Mason please listen to me. George is innocent. He has got nothing to do with this. You have problems with us fine, but please keep him out of this", I said pleadingly.

I pace around freaking out not knowing what to do.

"Oh Troy. I know he has got nothing to do with this and I wouldn't have brought him into this if my plan one had worked. You see my first plan is still a work in progress. So I'm just playing safe in case it doesn't", Mason said smugly.
