It was the second to last hour till the day was done. My class was currently getting ready for History, we had just gotten back from lunch and our History teacher Mrs.Christina was in the classroom with us. The boys in our class except for one, mind you we have a small class size of only about twenty kids and out of those twenty only seven were boys,decided to trick Dustin,a boy in our class, into a closet in the room. Now understand that when I say tricked I mean grabbed,shove and pushed into the closet.The boys that had shoved Dustin into the closet took all the spare desks and barricaded the door pushing their weight onto the door to keep him in there. I helped them with the barricade at times and tried to keep him in there. The door to the closet didn't have a knob to open it so in the space where the door knob was supposed to be, there was a hole giving Dustin some light and a way to see what was going on. Now what may shock you was that Mrs.Christina was there the whole time the boys were doing this,watching, and she didn't get onto us once. She actually helped us by giving us permission to do the prank/kidnapping/incarceration.
Mrs. Christina laughed at the prank with us (the class) and started class like we normally would,the exception being that Dustin was shoved in a storage closet that was about 5ft long 2ft wide. That day we had a quiz to take and Dustin had to make up two other quizzes that he had missed. Now you may think that he would be let out of the closet to take the quizzes, but he wasn't, no, Mrs. Christina took Dustin's quizzes and slid the under the door to the closet with a pen for him to take the quizzes! As you may remember Dustin did have some light coming in from where the door handle would be so he was able to take the quizzes.Mrs. Christina passed out the rest of the quizzes to us for us to take our quiz. One of the boys,Graham,thought it would be funny to take Germ-X and squirt it on Dustin while he was taking his quiz. This made Dustin get covered in Germ-X along with his quizzes, mostly his quizzes. When Graham went to see how he did with this prank, put his eye up to the hole on the door Dustin took his pen and tried to poke Graham's eye out in return Graham took the Germ-X and squirted more onto Dustin,laughing while he did it.This went on for the next 20-25 minutes of class. There were two failed escape attempts,one almost succeeded.
Finally,Mrs. Christina told the boys to let Dustin out of the closet so they let him free.Now naturally, Dustin wanted to get some revenge on the prank that had befallen him. To whom this tragic repercussions will befall we didn't know,nor did we think about that it would happen. Now that leads us to our next prank. The ingenious to this prank was very obvious and the prank itself was so obvious that all you needed was a neiv bystander. There was a cork board inside the closet that was positioned to such that when Dustin put his feet on the wall to get some leverage to push on the door open his feet were close by the cork board. Dustin had gotten his victim of his revenge picked out..... Mrs. Christina. He told Mrs. Christina that when he tried to escape he had accidentally 'broken' the cork board. Mrs. Christina fell for this,trying to be the responsible adult and assess the damage,and was pushed into the closet and was trapped,I mean we would let her out,but only in a few minutes,well I think that was Dustin's plan. Some of the boys, that had held the door shut when Dustin was in there,helped keep the door shut.
Then it happened. The funniest/ worst thing happened. Mrs. Stacy,the 6th grade teacher whose classroom was on the other side of the wall that the closet we put Dustin and now currently Mrs.Christina was on,came into our room FUMING!! She had heard all of the banging from Dustin when he was pushing on the wall to get out. The last bang from Mrs.Christina when she had been shoved in there seemed to have been the last straw.She yelled at us for sticking a 'student' into the closet and holding them in there while our teacher was 'outside' of the classroom was unacceptable behavior and that we would be punished for doing that. She left the classroom to get our punishment,which was that we had to copy a paragraph about 20 times.Mrs.Christina poked her head out of the closet and asked the funniest thing ever,"Is she gone?". That made everyone laugh.She came out of the closet and told us that she was going to pretend that she just came into the classroom and was getting on to us.Mrs. Stacy came into the room to give us our sentences and saw Mrs. Christina. She told Mrs. Christina what we had done and Mrs. Christina and many of our classmates including me were trying to keep our laughter in because Mrs. Christina was the one in the closet when Mrs. Stacy came into the room. Rachael, a girl in my class, almost blew our cover when she laughed. Mrs. Stacy noticed that some of us were trying to keep in our laughter. She asked us,"Do you think this is funny?!". Of course we said no but we were all think the same thing," If only you knew" or "Yes,We do think it is funny".Mrs. Christina kept up the act the whole time,well almost. She started to silently laugh behind Mrs. Stacy's back, thankfully she did because she can't keep a straight face at all. Mrs. Stacy gave Mrs. Christina the sentences for us to write,but since Mrs. Christina helped on the prank she didn't give them to us. She wouldn't have given them to us anyways though. At the end of the day Mrs. Christina went to Mrs. Stacy and told her what happened. It turned out that Mrs. Stacy had a very bad headache that day and that is why she got on to for all the noise we made. It was a GREAT April Fools day.
