chapter twenty-four - the emptiness.

SENDAI PREFECTURE.

Now renamed as a Sendai Colony since the culling game started. The whole Tokyo and some parts of the state become ruins, buildings were dilapidated. The dust in the bushes and ashes on the road was thick as the book in the libraries.

And not to far away from the centre of Sendai, was a group of people under the old bridge, they were rigid and afraid to go out.

Yuta okkotsu, the curse user who were recently gaining points caught the attention of a two sorcerer not too far away from him. "Okkotsu-san" yuta heard the mumbles of the civilians, he was quick to spare them a glance and put back his katana away.

"You can come out now" he softly smiles while he approach them. "Let's get moving north until we reach the end of the barrier-" the raventte stumble on his tracks with his eyes widening. His blue orbs watching a little interaction between a mother and her daughter, both of them was scared and clueless on the situation.

Now isn't the time for yearning for your presence...

The man thought, yet he wonders, what are you doing now? Are you safe? Are you and his baby are safe?

The sudden emersion of a curse energy made yuta instinctively draw out his katana. "Run to the stadium! Hurry" his voice was stern, it wasn't like before, it wasn't soft and loving. He was giving orders.

After that, a swarm of roaches has appeared before his eyes. This is truly disgusting.

Yuta saw a person running for his life, he thinks he can save it yet he was too late, it's half body was caught by the insects as his body was filled with roaches and soon attack yuta. He swiftly draw his katana to block the attack but it manage to push him aside.

"RIKAAA! DROP IT!" Yuta screamed, as the queen of curses appeard from the sky and her huge hands grip the top of the bridge to crush it down. Enabling the other group of roaches to fully approach yuta.

On the other hand, yuta uses his curse energy to blowup the remaining roaches that attempting to attack him. In one swoop of his katana, they were all gone, the black haired man was grinning, pride was what you can see in his eyes.

Thus, his curse energy captured a three curse user. One was floating in the air, one was a man with a weird hair cut, and one who was clueless about her surroundings.

She was just sitting on top of the roofs, watching the scene below as her e/c eyes watches the black haired man fought against korouroshi.

"You're good."

Such familiar voice made yuta turn his head to where it came from. And there you are, on top of the building, your very e/c eyes watching him so curiously yet it was empty. You... Were empty.

Yuta chuckle lightly, his calloused hand covering his mouth as he continue to laughed. This made you raise your brow at him, he was really interesting for a guy.

Yuta's hunch was right, he knew that you would be in sendai colony yet he didn't expect to see you so fast. Well... Destiny is always at his side.

His orbs bore to you, he'll be lying if he said that he didn't missed every cell of your being. All he wanted was to have a normal life with you but now... He could tell that you wasn't on your self. His eyes now look at your tummy and this made him clench his jaw...

Kenjaku....

He was sure, kenjaku has to do with the missing bump on your tummy.

He'll talk to you later, but now he should mind the hindrances. Like the curse spirit on the river and the other two curse user that he's been noticing. But now....

Yuta drop his katana, raising noth of his hand and he smiles at you.

"I dont plan on going against you... But" he flutter his eyes open, his dark blue orbs was sharp enough to send shivers in you spine. "Can i ask your name?" He continue.
