I still cannot get the face that Medicine Woman had when I told her on cancer. It was very rare around here, usually everyone just got the flu and died quickly. But no, I had to get cancer and I'm dying slowly, I know that I don't have many months to live, or even weeks. I don't want to leave my Granddaughter alone, Medicine Woman cannot afford to lose me. She has already lost so much, her Mother died while giving birth to her. Her father left her, he ran away, last I heard is that we was killed by the other tribe. But, Her grandfather, I must never tell her or anybody about what her grandfather did to me.
