Greetings once more, dear readers! As you embark upon this next installment, be prepared for a journey where mysteries abound and psychological complexity reigns. Given my background in psychology, it's no surprise that elements of suspense, cinematic intrigue, and psychological depth find their way into my storytelling. From the inception of the Van Deloney Series, my passion for narratives laced with mystery, historical intrigue, dark fantasy, and psychological thrills has only grown stronger.

Honestly, I'm slowly but surely beginning to grasp what my characters go through in the heat of mystery and conflict. I'm almost starting to empathize with them, but hey, there's no good story without a hearty dollop of challenge, right? So here I am, just tossing them into predicaments on a whim and letting them suffer alongside me because, well, that's how you cook up a damn good story. Cheers to a little literary sadism! XD

In the town of Faragon, nestled in the verdant lands of Ivalor's Eldredshire, an inexplicable mystery unfolded like a tangled cloak of shadows. Decades past, it was a community steeped in mirth and revelry, yet in the blink of an eye, an enigmatic veil settled. People vanished without a trace, and those who were found dead lay in the most incongruous places. Amidst the mounting fear, folks fled in droves, vowing never to return to the once-cheerful hamlet.

It was in this dark hour that a ray of hope pierced through the shadows. Astellia Valentine Castriota, a figure known for her uncanny psychic abilities, stumbled upon a series of clues hidden within the townsfolk's thoughts. As she delved deeper, she discerned an intricate web of patterns that bound the lives of those she had read. Her findings hinted at a connection, a thread that might unravel the mystery plaguing Faragon.
However, the question still remained... where could she begin her investigation into this peculiar case?
