To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance - Oscar Wilde

"Kennedy then takes off her mask, revealing a gorgeous woman with luscious golden locks and Kylie Jenner's lips."

I burst out laughing, my stomach aching as I rock back and forth in my chair. I lean back towards my mic, pushing my blonde hair behind my ear as I gaze back at the fan fiction.

"I wish I had her lips. Mine are like singular lines drawn on a white canvas because 1.)I have snow white skin." I pause, lacking words to express my feelings,"I have nothing else.... Alright! I'll see you next week. Love, Kennedy!"

I log out of my recording software and begin editing straight away. I devote every Saturday to editing the 6 other videos I recorded that week. Since my Saturday videos are so random I do not have much editing to do anyways. The video is done within an hour and added to my upload bank.

"VERA!" A shrill voice shrieks from downstairs. I slip off my hood to this cute sweat from Urban Outfitters that my mother gave me. I pull up my Topshop shorts so that they sit comfortably on my hips.

I rush downstairs, bounding down the hallway with large leaps. My wavy hair seems to bounce as I crash into the kitchen. My Mom stands near the oven, cooking some rice and boiling some pasta. My two favorite carbs!

"School tomorrow, V."

I roll my eyes, grabbing a large spoon and taking a large amount of rice into my face.

Mom laughs before turning around to face me. Her hair is pulled back with a large clip, making her heart shaped face seem extra angular! A cream shaped apron is strung over her shoulders with pink lace sewn around the edges.

"Last week of being a junior!" She squeaks, pulling me into a tight hug.

I laugh, hugging her back. She pulls away, keeping her arms around my waist as she looks me up and down.

"You have grown into such a gorgeous young woman."

"Thanks. I appreciate that."

My Mom gives me a hearty smile before turning back towards her cooking.

"Vera!"

Angela calls my name loudly, storming down the hallway to meet me at my locker. I roll my eyes, grabbing my psychology textbook out of my teal colored locker.

"What did you do this weekend? Any end of the year parties?"

I bite my lip before closing my locker so that our face meet. Her red hair is pulled back into a high ponytail that allows her hair to swing back and forth. She pops her hip out.

"Sorry, I wasn't whoring it up this weekend like you were."

I take a deep breath for that burn to sink into her skin. I turn around, my hips pointing out as I bound towards my psychology class.

I take my usual seat next to Marcy Mason, my best friend. She sends me a large smile that spreads across her tan face.

"Do anything fun?"

I shake my head,"You?"

"Mark and I went out for another date. He is so perfect, V! You have no idea." She giggles, opening up her textbook just as Mr. Rhoades walks in. Per usual, he is dressed in flared jeans and a tye-dye sweatshirt.

"Morning, Class. First on the agenda-

After my 6th hour class I rush home. My heart pounding wildly in my chest as I run into the mailbox, throwing it open and rummaging through the letters.

To: Love, Kennedy.

I tear open the letter. Throwing the discarded piece of paper back in the mailbox I slam it shut. Practically tripping over myself as I run into the house, my eyes glued to the paper I scream at the top of my lungs.

I'm going to Vidcon!

Hey! I know this chapter is short and that is because this is sort of an intro to the main story line which will take place at Vidcon (next chapter).

If anyone wants to make a cover for this story, I would love a new one. I seem to have lost my touch.
