Chapter 4 The Big Question

Serena's Pov
It's two and a half weeks after Nick and I broke up and I can't believe that I didn't listen to Matt. I should have trusted him, but I let my heart decide not my brain. It still hurts a little but he was a jerk so I shouldn't care. "Hey Serena!"I hear a familiar voice so I turn to see Matt. "Hey" "I need to talk to you later tonight can you meet me at my house at 6:30pm?" "Yeah sure!" Then he walks away. I can't help but wonder what he need to talk about.
The day couldn't be any slower. Ugh! I couldn't wait no longer. What would he want to talk to me about. Does he have a crush on me? Did I make him mad? Or did I do something wrong? I shouldn't worry. Finally it was the end of the day. I got a headache from worrying so much. For the next few hours I sat doing nothing. I just thought of what what he wanted to talk to me about. Finally it was time to go to his house!
Matt's Pov
I was so nervous for Serena to come over. She should be here any minute. *knocking noises heard at the door* I go to the door assuming it's her, which it was. "Hey, come in and sit wherever you'd like" "Oh ok thanks" I went to go grab glasses of water for each of us and met her in the living room. "So you wanted to talk to me?" She starts to say. "Yes and it's really important" she got a look of fear in her face. "Umm... So next year we are leaving and we aren't going to the same college, so I thought we could spend the whole summer together before colleges starts. I was thinking we take a road trip. We will travel the world or stay her in the U.S. And travel the country. I was wondering if you would come with me." She sat there frozen for a second and stared, but then she refocused and looked at me...speechless. I knew I shouldn't have asked. "I don't know" "It would be good for you. You could do something fun for your summer, so you have something to talk about at your new college. You could also maybe find a new guy" I was meaning me, but she doesn't know that. "Well, that does sound fun I guess." "So, will you come with me?" "Yes."
