Ajey's P.O.V:

-"Congratulations, you won!"
Said Aakash Bhardwaj to me, taking in a puff of his cigarette.

-"What do you mean? I won? I won what?"
I asked with furrowed eyebrows, with curiousity and confusion.

-"My sister."
He spoke casually.

But his words had made me feel a million butterflies in my stomach. Just the mention of her name was enough to erupt butterflies in my stomach, you see.

Nonetheless, his words had left me confused for the next few seconds.

-"What are you saying, Dr. Aakash? Care to explain? Because I don't understand anything."
I said in a puzzled tone.

-"Oh you exactly understand what I mean, buddy so stop behaving like you don't."
He spoke back sarcastically.

-"Oh really? You don't want to know what I understood from your words, Dr. Aakash..."
I said to him, puffing in some of my cigarette.

-"Understand whatever you want to, I don't fucking care. All I wanted to do was to congratulate you for the win. You passed the test. You won her. You won my sister."
He mouthed in a firm tone, looking somewhere afar.

-"What test?"
I asked curiously and in confusion.

-"The test that you've been unknowingly doing for the last 10 hours, Ajey Nagar. I wanted to test you if you were good enough for my sister, and so I did."
His words had me chuckling under my breath.

-"That was so fucking childish of you, Dr. Aakash."
I said casually, without any hesitation.

-"I know. I said the same to my fiance's father when he told me that he was trying to test me, if I was good enough for his daughter to marry. In my case, for a whole fucking month."
He spoke to me with his firm voice.

-"Uh, really?"
I asked in amusement.

-"Yes, that's what protective men of a family do for their sisters and daughters and whoever."
He replied back to me casually.

-"Damn, didn't see that coming. But I'm glad I passed. Thankyou for letting me pass, Dr. Aakash."
I spoke, nevertheless.

-"You're most welcome, young man. But I didn't let you pass. I would never let you pass. You won because you were true to your commitment. I've seen you caring for her, respecting her, protecting her and above all, loving her with a pure heart. And that is exactly what made you pass the test. Congratulations, again.
But yes, keep in mind, you've only passed my test. Trishika hasn't said anything yet. First she has to tell me that she willingly wants to be with you, only then you can have my sister as your better half."
He spoke firmly, passing the "deal" in front of me.

-"You don't have to worry about that, dear brother. She'll say that out of her own will, gladly. I'll make sure of that."
I took in a puff, and spoke to him with confidence.

-"Hmm, we'll see...but just keep in mind, young man that even if you two come in a relationship, you are never entitled to do things to her she doesn't want. One single tear escaping my sister's eye, you'll bear consequences; which will certainly be not the most pleasent ones."
Aakash Bhaiya spoke with a warning.
