Klaroline Fanfiction - Elijah's back (One Shot)

* Elijah comes back after finding out about Kol's death and he is not happy. *

Elijah kicked the door open just as Caroline passed through.

- You! - he roared in her direction

This was Klaus' house. What was this lame excuse of a vampire doing here? Nevermind, this was the perfect opportunity to start cutting down Mystic Fall's vampire community. With one quick and strong move Elijah pinned Caroline to the wall pressing his arm against her throat. How pathetic was her? Gasping for something as human as air. He could stay there all day, watching her slowly dying as she probably did with his brother, but he had no time. And besides the slow painful dead was saved for Elena and her ignorant little brother. There was just a couple of things he needed from Caroline before he ripped her head of her shoulders.

- Where's my brother? - he asked as rage filled his voice

Caroline fought to be able to speak. He was crushing her. And he knew that if he wanted her to answer him he should reliece her. At least ease the pressure. And yet something about hurting her was so satisfying. She was the purest representation of what had gone wrong with his family. Klaus and his stupid decisions. Rebekah and her humanity. Caroline was the representation of Mystic Falls, the damn place where he had lost both of his brothers. Now Finn was different. Even though he didn't wished for him to die he was trying to kill them all. But Kol wasn't. He had nothing else on his mind but to keep them from raising Silas. And this idiots killed them for trying to save their lives. He was surprised Klaus and Rebekah hadn't took care of them all already. But it was better this way. Now he could do it personally.

Suddenly something heavy ran into Elijah and he feel on the floor. He was expecting to have to fight his way back up, but whoever attacked him wasn't focusing on keeping him on the floor. He stood up quickly and prepared himself to fight. However his will and determination were traded for confusion and shock when he saw Klaus standing strategically in front of Caroline.

- What do you think you're doing? - Elijah's voice sounded like a lion ready to attack - You're protecting her? They killed Kol.

- Caroline had nothing to do with that. - Klaus explained like a kid who was being punished

- She's with them. Of course she had something to do with it. THEY KILLED OUR BROTHER.

Elijah tried to get to Caroline again but Klaus blocked his way. They both stared each other down.

- You're choosing her over your family? 

- You're not being rational brother. I'm merely saying that you have no reason to kill her because she wasn't even there when it happened. Go ahead and kill whoever you want. Just not her.

- So you don't mind if I kill anyone else? Why haven't you done it though?

Klaus looked at the ground as if he was embarrassed.

- It's because of her isn't it? She would never forgive you if you killed them so you just let your brother's death go unavenged. Tell me something Klaus, would you kill her if she had killed Kol?

Klaus didn't answered but Elijah knew better.

- Just a piece of advice brother.  - he as he walked out the door - If you want her to stay alive keep her out of my way.
