Ray of Light

Radiant ray of light, you're passing through

The curtain of the night in search of more

Than once before you aren't the friend I knew.

For is it I  you shine so brightly for?

You're often staring down at me but I

Can never truly see, your eyes that hold

Concurrently the fabrics of the skies.

Without you would I ever be so bold?

Although we part for everyday, I could

Not bare to stay away one look was all

That I needed to smile; though if I should

Have none at all with you I will still fall.

For you are the beginning and the end,

An eternal morning with you I'll spend.
