Only In Her Dreams

~Perfect Day~

It was a cool day in Western Indiana. The Spring breeze was chilly, yet pleasant. Elise had woken up extra early to spruce herself up a bit. She had curled her beautiful blond hair, put on her makeup, picked the perfect outfit- all because she knew she would see him. Him, as in Sage Easton, the one and only guy of her dreams. He was the biggest crush she'd ever had.
Elise's mother had driven her to the middle school that morning, wandering why she was all dressed up. "This is new," she said. "You never dress up for school." "Well, I guess I've changed, then," Elise murmured, trying to leave out the real reason why she looked so nice. Soon enough, the car got to the school, allowing a chance for Elise to start up conversation with Sage before class. She only had two periods, band and health, with him. That meant she must squeeze in conversation wherever she can get it to become closer with Sage.
Elise, nervous as could be, slowly approached the handsome boy. She was so close to working up the courage to talk to him, when all of the sudden, she heard a "Hey Elise!" From directly behind her. It was her best friend since third grade, still going strong, Raleigh Valo. Elise was mad, yet relieved that she didn't get to talk to the boy of her dreams that morning. "So how are you!?" Raleigh talk-shouted. Elise was caught staring at sage by her. "Oh my goodness! Does my best friend have a crush??" "Maybe a little," said an excited Elise. Later that day, Elise and Raleigh sat at lunch together, like they always do. They weren't talking about the things they usually do, though. They were talking about how Elise and Sage would look cute together. After lunch in class, (a class Sage was in), Elise made small talk with Sage, and he flashed that cute smile at her. She almost started blushing. Thank god she didn't, or otherwise that would've been a dead giveaway. Later that night, Elise and Raleigh were texting and talking about how excited Elise was. Elise had one goal, and that goal was to make Sage Easton hers forever and ever.
